Fandom Update: Infinity Train Season 3 Trailer Breakdown and New Season Speculation

Onto the final fandom update from Comic-Con and was saving this for last during the three-day event at the comfort of our home and I gotta say...Owen...Owen...what are you doing to us?! But yeah, Season 3, we got some shit that was dropped from the panel for what to expect in the coming weeks. Yes, I said weeks. Though yes, it’s been almost seven months since Season 2 wrapped up over at Cartoon Network. It feels like both the network, now being HBO Max taking the reigns, and the cast and crew of the show think to themselves once the two seasons were done, they think to themselves, “Hmm...yes...not enough. Probably make the show appear every six to eight months just to play around with the fans.” Okay, I know that they didn’t say that but...yeah, looks like we won’t wait for like a year or two or more for another season of Infinity Train and it looks like come August 13, we will get another round of Infinity Train.

The trailer dropped on Friday during the panel with the name of the season, rather a book, being revealed to the fans being trapped in their homes hoping to get a ride on the train to escape the hellhole that is the year 2020. Book 1 is called The Perennial Child with Tulip as the protag. Book 2 of the series called Cracked Reflections despite that the character of Jesse is the passenger of the train to get his number to go down, it’s pretty much the Mirror Tulip/Lake Show because we gotta have our daily dose of Tulip for the week. Book 3 is called Cult of the Conductor, which sounds like something you hear from a heavy metal garage band down in the outskirts of the Colorado Rockies. And it looks like it will stick to us like glue for the new season come August.

Grace and Simon, the two people that made a cameo on the monitor in Season 1 with their numbers haven’t gotten down and got introduced in the last season and trying to persuade Jesse to get his number to go up only to fail, yeah. So they’re now the protagonists of this season because the fans wanteth and the fans will get-eth, if that’s a word on the dictionary, but yes folks, they’re the protagonists for this season, making this the...I guess the second season where we have two people take center stage. Cause Season 1 has three with Tulip, One-One, and Atticus. Season 2 has Lake and Jesse...no wait, looks like three if you count Alan Dracula. And now Season 3, we have Grace and Simon, that’s the main two. And now we got another two being introduced to both Tuba, the gorilla, and of course…Hazel.

To be fair in my defense, it may doesn’t feel weird if you want to protect the kid. I’m serious, somebody better protect that kid from whatever bullshit Owen Dennis might throw at her. This is innocent child and innocent child deserve to be protected. So yeah, Hazel is the new character that is introduced for Season 3 and in the most surprising twist of all, the girl doesn’t have a number in her palm. No number on the hand and Dennis did confirm it. And people had some speculation for her when being introduced in the promo poster for the third season with some think that Hazel is Grace and Simon’s kid and how come Hazel didn’t get the number in her palm and think that if two people who have numbers in their hand and conceive, then the child, who would be born on the train, will cancel out on getting a number. I know that seems like a big fat unlikely scenario to come up with and I would say think about it but apparently in the trailer, she’s pretty much a random kid in one of the cars, one of the new places of the train in the series, that happened to be a jungle that somehow made it to the train for no apparent reason but to wait and see come August.

And in like your typical Infinity Train fashion, with a new season come new train cars on their way to their adjective to get Hazel to the Apex before anyone, mostly One-One, gets her for nothing having a number on her hand. But looking at the trailer, it looks like we’re not only to visit the new cards, but it also looks like we might be paying a visit to the old ones which appears to be some places we saw back in Season 1 from the Corgi car where we met Atticus to the car with the turtles where One-One somewhat became OCD concerning some orbs. I mean if that case, and it looks like it may be unlikely that we’ll get to see Atticus again, just for the hell of it.

And of course, shit hitting the fan. People theorize that a revolt or a revolution might be inevitable cause the purpose of the guys over at the Apex is pretty much not wanting to have their numbers going down with talks of a revolt pretty much going to overshadow the whole season from top to bottom. Imagine that like a firecracker and you’re waiting for that motherfucker to pop like it’s the Fourth of July. Going after the system, a system that One-One pretty much took control once again at the end of Season 1 courtesy of Tulip. Feel like sooner or later, we may or may not going to see Amelia popping up again. That would be something for her to pop up again after a season-long hiatus from the end of the first season and see how she’s doing since those events happened. Yeah, that almost sounds like blatant fanservice but...who knows? Anything can happen once Season 3 arrives on streaming on the HBO Max service on August 13. Though it feels like they’re gonna drop all episodes into one day rather than having two episodes aired per week. I mean people thought that Close Enough was going to do that and they dropped the whole season in one day. Same for Solar Opposites over at Hulu. Though not the same for Central Park over at Apple TV. But yeah, August 13...Infinity Train moving over to the streaming world from Cartoon Network and like the old saying goes…

But yeah, that be it for this fandom update and recap for this very article regarding Infinity Train and probably the only time to ever mention the series. And that’ll do it for Comic-Con updates until 2021...well that is if there is a 2021 cause this feels like we’re now waiting for an asteroid or black hole to just end it all. May or may not be thinking about doing a full season review to Central Park and would give out my thoughts about it, guess we’ll wait and see about that. Thank y’all so much for reading this article.
