Bob's Burgers Season 10, Episode 1 Review: The Bob of the Ring | yahoo201027's Bob's Burgers Reviews

It’s the most wonderful time of the year...and the longest in that one too. Yes people, we’re back from the Summer Hiatus following a...let’s say...iffy season finale with the kids saving Zeke’s ass from getting sent off. Depends on who has the controversial season, us or the NFL? Or maybe either Star vs in its final season...or maybe Game of Thrones. Either way...Season 9 may have landed in that category. But enough with that, the past has now come and gone and now with the new season now at our footsteps...it’s going to be a very long season. Time to grab the drinks...we’re gonna be here for a while.

In this week’s season premiere episode of Bob’s Burgers, it’s the chase for the ring as Bob tries to find a missing engagement ring for his and Linda’s anniversary and of course, hijinks ensue courtesy of Tina, Gene, and Louise in my spoilerific review of the first episode of the tenth season, titled “The Ring (But Not Scary).”

It’s the first episode of the new season and in your typical Bob’s Burgers fashion, it did not disappoint. It’s only episode one of the show’s tenth season and so far, we may be looking at a pretty good episode, consider this a rethread to what happened last season but take it with a grain of salt, it’s only one episode. It’s pretty much sports fans after their team win or loss their first game of the season and think that they’re season is already championship contenders or already out of contention, and that was only one loss. It’s still a full season left so it’s too early to say that type of stuff just like with this episode in this season.

That being said, this was a good episode to kick off the new season. I enjoyed it for the most parts, mostly with the return of everyone’s favorite limo driver to the end of the episode having it’s cute moment between both Bob and Linda and proving to the haters that they’re the best couple when it comes to the world of entertainment, your words, not mine. And of course, it’s a Bob and Linda episode to kick off the season with the last time being Season 6 with “Sliding Bobs” though that was mostly the Belcher kids coming up with their own versions of how Bob and Linda met only with this episode, it’s mostly Bob trying to find the missing ring thanks to the kids messing around with Linda trying to get Gayle to put on her eye drops after contracting pink eye because...Gayle. That seems about right.

So it looks like it’s going to be a very long day for Linda on the eve of her and Bob’s anniversary from taking the kids to the water park since let’s not forget, it’s September 2 over at the burger universe and it’s also Labor Day weekend and like 100 miles away from where they are, you would have an alien creature with a injector draining the life out of the Earth and have someone to save the whole world through the power of singing. We start September with the Steven Universe movie and we end the month with a new Bob’s Burgers, so yeah, there’s that. So while Linda is getting ready to head out to the water park...

We head over to Tina, Gene, and Louise in Bob and Linda’s room to look for something with both Tina and Gene to go into the closet only for Louise to find a box under the bed, unwrapping the gift and open the box only to reveal to be an engagement ring and that kind of surprises the Belcher kids since they don’t see their parents with their rings on their fingers to signify that they’re a married couple. You wear the ring on the finger, tell them that you’re no longer on the market. And with the kids looking at the ring, only in Bob’s Burgers where we have them deciding to fool around with the gift for the anniversary. And also snooping over what kind of gift they’re looking at in their own eyes...apparently, that’s like if it’s your birthday and you want something that you want for either a while or a long time and think that this year might be that year with your parent or friend bought a gift but sealed it tight so that it doesn’t open until the day of the event but you, being a sly motherfucker, decided to say “fuck it” and head down to open it before putting it back as it was supposed to be. Consider this like the equivalent of a spoiler alert when finding out what happened in a show even though you’re not fully caught up nor plans happened and want to watch it either on DVR or release it on let’s say Hulu the next day. Dragon Queen decided to be a bitch and destroy a city even though the enemy side surrendered.

As Linda prepares to get the kids to come towards the park from the house, Teddy alerts Bob about a certain event coming up, the event being the wedding anniversary since of course ever since the first episode of the series “Human Flesh” being 9/3, nine is divisible by three. And of course Teddy has that event made in his calendar a reminder as well as other personal info of him, which you could say it’s nice that he’s looking out for his buddy to make sure he doesn’t forget stuff but at the same time...sort of creepy in the way of a privacy invasion. Kind of like a data breach taking your shit away or the government watching over what you are doing on the web...that’s America for you.

But of course, Bob is not forgetting about the one day of year where most spouses forget next to wedding renewals and celebrating your in-law’s birthday even though you uncle-in-law is pretty much the most racist when it comes to conversations at the dinner table on Thanksgiving. And he only got it because both him and Linda never wore a ring by the time they got hitched. So what we got that when Bob and Linda met, she was engaged of course, engaged to Hugo and was about to tie the knot but then Bob comes in via accidentally slamming your finger and her having a thing for mustaches and dumped Hugo and go towards Bob and of course, out of nowhere, they get engaged even though their wedding, if you look closely at the photo frame in their room, is of city hall and not at a church or a football game at halftime. And of course, when they tied the know, there were no engagement rings on standby when Bob proposed to Linda and instead, a high five. You would’ve think that you get a ring at like...wanna say a pawn shop but...eh? So it looks like Bob has come prepared this time around and think that everything would so smoothly between both him and Linda come their anniversary and nothing can go wrong with his gift to close out the night...well...

The kids decided to mess around with the gift and when Linda came up to tell that it’s time to go and head towards the water pack, putting away the gift and like it’s never been touched and hoping to get off with a clean sweep, only for them to noticed that the ring was returned to its box and instead, attached to Gene’s finger. And like with most rings or chubby fingers, it will never come off mostly because of...well either one of the two and it looks like both Louise and Tina need to find a way to get the ring out of Gene’s finger without Linda finding out, from the car ride to the park with Tina pretending to bump her head from hitting a bump to arriving at the park with Louise asking Linda for the sunscreen as the source to get the ring out of the finger like it’s butter because butter solves everything to get out of a dire situation...unless it has something to do food and your dietary actions, in this case, go to hell Bill Maher. You and your neoliberal bullshit should go kiss mine and every other progressives’ asses. Welcome to another election season, bitch. But of course, the plan failed and thus deciding to not continue to get the ring out and enjoy their day at the park by heading towards the lazy river as their first take in the water park and the Belcher kids enjoy their time at the lazy river as Linda take a wee chill seeh and get a tan and as the Belcher kids go through the river and tubing in the waters, they meet up with an old face that they haven’t seen for a massive while, a year and eight months since her debut and it’s none other than...

Nat the Limo Driver! ♪ (Return of the Nat) it is (Return of the Nat) come on (Return of the Nat) oh my god (You'll know that she'll be back) here she is (Return of the Nat) once again (Return of the Nat) pump up the world (Return of the Nat) watch her flow (You'll know she'll be back) here she go ♪

Yes folks...Nat the Limo Driver has returned since her debut back in the Valentine’s Day episode of 2018 known as “V for Valentine-detta” and now, back at the saddle again. Oh...welcome back you beautiful amazing person of wonder in pink. And it looks like ever since the events of the Valentine’s episode of last year, it looks like things are going well for the limo driver, driving around a guy from the airport and then decided to be at the water park and get a pass because she has a connection, as in she knows the ticket lady in the same park, mostly because of a human chain that saved a chihuahua who has fallen into a half-pipe at the skate park, thus here she is and also coming her in her lunch break, mostly on hot days, and sometimes that rest last well, despite that according to her that one time that she spent her day on the tube, she ended up in the ocean. So yeah, Nat is pretty much living the good life and for the kids, it’s them to enjoy the rest of the day despite that the ring is attached to Gene’s finger with Gene staying in the lazy river, Louise sliding down the water slide, and Tina checking on some butts in the wave pool...yeah, not a good place to do all that. Try a normal pool and dive deep down and...okay, this is where we got to stop and continue on to the episode. But once the day is done and with Linda completely sunburnt thanks to her getting a tan from the sun, the status of the ring that was attached to Gene’s finger...

Gone. Disappeared. Nowhere to be found like the chances of winning for the Miami Dolphins this season. They’re 0-4 and that’s pretty much depressing. They are really gunning for an 0-16 season and a lot of first round picks in the draft. So now the Belcher kids are now on full on panic mode after noticing that the ring is off from Gene’s finger and now have to find a way to find the ring before Bob ever finds out before the anniversary comes into play.

And that’s where the kids have to come up with a diversion to come up with a plan to get the ring back when Bob brought up the anniversary, thank god that he finally remembered this time unlike with “Human Flesh” when he forgot and have to serve the people during Labor Day weekend despite being accused for having human remains in their patties thanks to Louise, ha-ha, callbacks. And that’s where kids end up go to the bathroom, creating an excuse of Tina having diarrhea with Louise and Gene to help her out when Bob brought up the ring and now have to come up with a plan to get it back before he finds out but of course, they need a ride and break into the park except that it’s nighttime, the park is closed, and they can’t just walk towards the place since it only take a freeway away from where they are. It’s pretty much outside city limits the park is located, so it looks like things aren’t looking good for the three...unless they have the phone number of a certain limo driver on standby in case of a ride without having the parent to step in. Oh wait, they do.

The kids call Nat from her what appears to be her apartment, busying eating a snack with a Komodo dragon next to her. A Komodo dragon! Like...you’re allowed to have either a dog or cat or bird or hamster or fish as a pet but a Komodo dragon? Unless that Komodo dragon is like her emotional support pet or like you freed the animal from its cage and about to set it free but end up showing some attachment and thus, a pet Komodo dragon in your home. I don’t know, think we need to have a jury about this. Or to Reddit...that works too. But yeah, the kids call Nat for a ride and tell them what happened with the ring and like that, Nat agrees and about to go get her water park pal who let her in all the times and ready to get the ring back. You think that if Nat noticed the ring earlier in the day attached to Gene’s finger, she would’ve like get it out of him because...well she’s Nat. It’s like she is like well prepared for anything with everything in her arsenal. I mean hell, when the apocalypse comes and she’s one of the people who survived the blast or whatever, she’ll be prepared. She probably even saw Doomsday Preppers to get everything ready for when the dark days come. So for the Belcher kids, it looks like things might be going in their way, Bob noticing a thing, Linda went to Gayle, Nat coming in to save the day, so it’s all good here...right? Wanna continue this phrase but I think we know where this is going next, so let’s just cut to the chase.

Bob knew that the kids messed around with the ring when he noticed that the ring is nowhere in sight and not in its box and noticed that the kids have not changed out from their swimsuits, he now knows that the ring is at the water park just as Nat arrives in front of the house, awaiting them for the ride to get the ring back. And it looks like Bob is tagging along to get the ring, as well as grounding the kids for losing the ring and messing it around. And also giving them the silent treatment, stripping the roles of their kids away from them, and barred them from his funeral. I know that you’re upset because you worked hard to get that ring that you haven’t gotten on the day of the proposal and here we are, just as you’re about to give Linda the ring, come the kids to come taking a massive shit on it, but...jeez Bob, don’t you think that what you say might be a going a bit too far? Just putting it out there.

The silent treatment goes on as the Belchers and Nat head down to the water park to get the missing ring and of course, the kids still tried to apologize to Bob for what they did and try to tell him how it’s not too late to get the ring back before Linda returns but still giving him the silent treatment and that’s where he needs to start putting his trust onto Nat in this endeavor since she knows how to find things like how she lost a candy bar over at Lollapalooza and found it three days later...so put some trust into her Bob because the clock is ticking before it hits midnight and the date changes to your anniversary, so what other options do you have left? That’s what I thought.

Once arriving at the park, as Nat gets out her gear, she met up with the person who let have a go when it comes to the relaxing in the waters in Josie, one of the employers at the park, and tells her and the Belchers that the ring is not in the lost and found section, or in her boss’s drawer for no reason, so that would mean that the ring would be somewhere underwater in one of the pools in the vicinity. And if you think that finding the ring with only four people would be easy? Well...it’s not with a long swath of pool-age but of course, Nat, never failed to surprise us, bring out the big guns and brought out a group called the Puff Divers, which happened to be a group of female divers and also experts in the world of cannabis, let’s not forget that marijuana is only legal in the medical kind over in New Jersey, and help out both Nat and the Belchers to find the ring and so they do that. But of course, as everyone are on the hunt for the missing ring, Bob gets a phone call from Linda, in which we’ll cover that subplot later on in the review...

Calling him that she’ll be coming home and ready to throw in the towel after she was unsuccessfully tried to get the drops inserted into Gayle, who is currently suffering from some serious pinkeye, and Bob needs to buy some time so that Linda doesn’t get suspicious over what’s going on and where they are and ends up telling her to not throw in the towel just yet and give it another go and of course, Linda ends up taking his words and give it one last shot to get the drops into Gayle. And sadly that only used for Linda when dealing with Gayle but Bob later on as the search goes on, deciding to throw in the towel after no luck finding it due to the fact that ring is small and impossible to find it during the night. That and his finger got stuck in the drain only to be pulled out by Nat and the kids and go down underwater like in sad movies with the kids trying to pull him back up until Nat announces that she may have found the ring, key word “found” and “ring” and that’s where...

We jumped over to everyone going around the drain with Nat with a fishing hook trying to get the jewelry out of the drain in a careful direction just like with Darryl with the hanger to try to mess around with a buttons to get the flat thingy part of the truck up from the fort...only for him to hit the wrong button...A for effort for my boy, alright. For Nat, it’s kind of a similar situation only instead of a truck and trying to escape with a clothing hanger, it’s a fishing hook trying to get the jewelry out. Only for Nat to get a necklace instead and the only piece of jewelry that can be found. Oh and they all got busted by the owner of the park, just putting it out there. Welp...there goes the mission to get the ring back from the area.

The owner, Gary, yes, we have a Gary and not, it’s not the name of Gene’s opponent in the Semifinals. Oh yeah, Gene’s in the semifinals in the 2019 Battle of the Week Voting Tournament against Gary Goodspeed from Final Space come October 20, just putting it out there. So Gary caught everyone red handed and asks Josie on what’s going on and why she brought everyone in during closing hours but of course, Bob intervenes to save everyone’s skin and take the fall for what’s going on. Telling Gary that the reason him and everyone are in the park during closing hours is that he tried to find the ring that was lost thanks to the kids’ shenanigans so that he can present it to Linda on their anniversary. And of course, while all that is happening with the apology and taking the fall, here enter Linda and a pink eyed Gayle to the scene and heard the whole thing but before going through that, we’re going to the subplot because the subplot of episode merged with the main plot at the end of the episode, rather the near end of the episode with Linda founding about the whole gift thing for their anniversary, so looks like we’re jumping over to the subplot before going back to the main.

So once after getting the kids back home and ate dinner, of course the kids had to create a diversion so that both her and Bob don’t find out about the whole missing ring fiasco, Linda heads out for the night to get Gayle to put some eyedrops onto her to make sure the whole situation doesn’t take the horrific route, mostly because...it’s Gayle. What do you think was going to happen, that one day, she has pinkeye and the next day, crippling debt and your cat loses a leg due to a freak accident. You know that meme from a long time ago, like late 2011 or was it 2012? That Bad Luck Brian meme, Google it...yeah...Gayle really need a win this season. I’m not joking, Gayle needs to have some good luck in her life. Find a four leaf clover, find a pot of gold, sacrifice a goat and drink some goat blood, putting it out there, she needs to have her own episode, like her time to shine and prove every doubter wrong and last season with the oil episode was supposed to be that but instead took it and driven off a cliff. Simply put, it’s time. But like every show that ended this year with endings that was felt rushed and/or took a horrific turn, we can’t have nice things.

So Linda is ready to take the drops and about to put it in Gayle’s pinkeye to make sure the swelling goes down and you think that one simple drop and boom, we’re calling it a night, go order some food, and head out to get ready for the anniversary...sadly, that would happen if someone can take the drops like a normal person with one drip and blink. Gayle on the other hand, doesn’t want the drops to go into her eye and straight up attacking Linda, like pinning her down to the ground and threaten to use the drops on her. I don’t know if she’s like sensitive like she doesn’t want anything like let’s say sharp like a needle for an immunization since it’s now flu season and maybe she doesn’t like how the drops feel onto the eye, which, no biologist here, sensitive part next to...well...yeah. That or she took self-defense classes...that might have worked too.

Transitioning between the main plot and the subplot of the episodes with Bob, Nat, the kids, and everyone in the swim group looking for the ring and Linda trying to get the drops into Gayle’s eyes, when it comes to whoever is dealing with a bad situation between Bob and Linda, I think Linda might’ve taken the cake, so far, with her doing countless attempts to get the drops onto Gayle. Getting her out from under her bed, trying to corner her in the bathroom only to get sprayed via air freshener, or maybe hair conditioner, yeah...this isn’t Linda’s day when it comes to dealing with her sister like a pet unable to resist whenever someone’s at the door and want to maul the shit out of whoever’s at the door.

So Linda was unable to get the drops onto Gayle, thus going back to her phone call with Bob and about to throw in the towel but of course, Bob tells Linda to not give up just yet, just to give Bob and everyone who are looking for the ring to get more time, and take up Bob’s word and ready to give it another go as Gayle comes out from the bathroom with a shower curtain over her head. Yeah like a shower curtain is going to protect her from getting drips onto her eyes in the palms of Linda’s hands. That’s like if you’re heading out to take the trash out late in the night and you’re only choice of defense to carry around is either a foam baseball bat, a stick from a fake plant, or even a pencil like you’re fucking John Wick.

Onto the wine shop we go, we have the two trying to buy some wine to ease down the tension with her trying to tell Gayle to take off the shower curtain, thinking that she don’t have the eye drops on her (she does) and begins to distract Gayle to take the drops by thinking that if a guy walks up to her and notice her, then no guy will take her. So she ends up follow Linda’s instructions, not noticing that it was all a ploy to get Linda to put the drops onto Gayle...only to fail with Gayle going overreacting to the whole thing like she’s getting murdered and causing a scene. Noting the problem there for Linda is that she should’ve gone to her left, to her left, to her left, to her left but I guess even with that, Gayle would still see that eyedrop from targeting her infested eye thanks to her working eye.

Back to the Belcher household, she checks up on everyone in the home, only to noticed that neither Bob nor the kids are asleep or present in the house and that’s where we are, back to the main plot, oh yeah, and she brought along Gayle for the ride from the store to the household all the way to the water park where both Linda and Gayle met up with Bob, the kids, Nat, and the swim team.

Bob tries to explain what happened and reveal his gift to Linda, or was his gift, in the engagement ring that he didn’t have when they proposed like decades ago and was supposed to be a surprise for when the moment comes during their anniversary. However, Linda knew that Bob was planning this. Yes, she knew about the ring. She knew about what Bob was doing for their upcoming anniversary and you can thank Tina and her diary for revealing it all to her. Tina...something tells me at some point in future episodes, and God forbid this ends up becoming a regular thing where her diary becomes the secret plot point tool of destiny. Like...remember that toy you see of a girl journal that happened to be secret with invisible lighting or some shit and a voice lock to keep anyone from opening it...yeah...Tina may need that. I know that it’s 2019, about to enter 2020 in less than, we’re in October now at the time of the posting of the review, two, three months, there’s like apps for that. Or rather to go old school, create a secret safe spot to hid the diary from the public, either inside the crawl space or a secret hatch under the bed.

Either way, Linda knew, thanks to Tina’s diary. Bob apologizes to Linda that another wedding anniversary got shatted on, first the restaurant being shut down back in Season 1, and now at Season 10 with Bob losing the ring thanks to the kids’ antics but Linda tells Bob that he doesn’t need something like a ring to prove their love and their marriage and stated that she didn’t need it because she’s fine with the way it is, being married and ringless, that it’s fine that she didn’t the ring at the day of the proposal, even though not needing would automatically spell rejection and turning into...one side laughingstock and one side pity, and she didn’t even need it now and that their love isn’t built for just one big ring attached to their fingers and this, kind of beating a dead horse but it was worth it and prove to the world that they’re still the best married couple in all the land because even though Bob planned all of this, blood, sweat, and tears, to get something expansive like an engagement ring for Linda that he didn’t get back in the day leading up to the big day of the proposal, at the end of the day, a simple thing like a ring outmatched by their relationship as the two made up and of course, they kissed and thus, another day of them being together all wrapped up in this episode with both Bob and Linda on the lazy river in their underwear.

Well Bob was already stripped down during the diving escapade to find the ring since he didn’t even bother to bring in swim trunks of his own whereas for Linda, just took off her pants and shoes, down to only her shirt and panties with them holding hands and riding around the tube as they enjoy their first hour of their anniversary. Oh yeah, the ring. Forgot about whatever happened to that when it was detached from Gene’s finger that became a distant memory. Well what happened was...

Earlier in the day, it was found in a pile of trash, think that may been fallen off from Gene when the custodian was cleaning the trash up and then out of nowhere, a bird ends up picking the ring up and you have got to give the animators mad props because although it’s only episode one of the new season, and already loving the visuals from this week’s episode, holding it for when reaching towards the end of the review, of the bird flying away with the ring onto its beak, across town, the animation department really went off the chains when it comes this scene, and the bird made it to its nest with the other bird, happened to be its lover and guess where the nest is located? The place where anyone who were looking for that ring throughout the episode haven’t looked, the top of the sign outside of the restaurant. It was a glorious scene to watch and a perfect way to close out the episode and season premieres when it comes to this season, never disappoint. And glad this episode kicked off this season with something that what the show has cooked up in the writing and animation department. It may be a long season ahead but hey...maybe they’ll surprise us as the season progresses as we enter the Fall Season.

Reaction/Thoughts:

So all and all, what do I think of this week’s season premiere episode of Bob’s Burgers? This was a pretty good episode to kick off the new season. Although the subplot may need some work, even though it’s mostly with Linda trying to fight her way to get Gayle to put on some eye drops following getting some pinkeye because...well she’s Gayle, it was an amazing start to the show’s tenth season. Surprising how the show, after it went through its ninth season where it was full of problems, is still going strong. You think that it would hit the decline but here we are.

Got to give Bob some mad props for what’s he been doing and trying to impress Linda on their wedding anniversary with the ring waiting in the wings, only for the kids to mess that up and lose it at the water park, and this is coming from the guy who forgot about it back in the very first episode of the series when preparing for the Labor Day rush and trying his best to impress her on various Valentine’s Day episodes from a laundry pile into a heart or the advent calendar (though that was all Linda) to get some dance moves in “Bob Actually”. Point is, Bob really worked his butt off when trying to impress the woman that he married and although that times were tough between the day of the proposal and the day of the wedding, at the end of the day, ring or no ring, their love holds on and that was nice to see that and proving to the haters that they’re still the best couple in the land. Don’t @ me.

It was nice to see Nat again after her debut back in Season 8 and glad that Jillian Bell reprised her role as the limo driver and it was bombshell after bombshell when it comes to the character from how she’s been since the whole thing with Jimmy Jr, yeah not his proudest moment, from how she got a pass to the water park to knowing a group of female swimmers who happened to be cannabis enthusiasts to of course, finding out her last name being Kinkle. Nat Kinkle, hard to believe that’s her actual last name. But hey, it’s Nat and it looks like that Nat train won’t be stopping at anytime because it looks like she will be back if you follow the Bento Box’s Instagram or Twitter page and see the script covers that...yep, Nat is coming back a future episode, don’t know if it’s going to be later this season or maybe early next season, don’t know if we’re going to get a Season 11 but fingers crossed. Nat is coming back and it looks like the train won’t be stopping at any time.

The subplot of the episode may need some work in this episode when it comes to the whole thing with Gayle. Really wish that Gayle can at least get a win this time around after not getting the development that she deserves. Gayle is pretty much that person who pretty much hates stuff, whether if it’s eyedrops or needles, due to being frail and sensitive. This wasn’t Linda’s day when it comes to taking care of her pinkeye infested sister but it was the only way for Bob and everyone to give them time to find the ring at the water park. So you have to at least give Linda some effort when trying to get the eyedrops onto Gayle, despite that she went to the defensive against Linda and the eyedrops from attacking her to screaming bloody murder and overreact, we all know that person who are pretty much like that and yeah...give it time...said no one. Gayle will be fine. Not like the whole pinkeye thing won’t stick around the next time she will appear because reset button, that’s why.

Mad props to the animators with the end scene with the birds. This has to be my favorite moment in that episode to close it out and it was nice and beautiful with the bird, with the ring on its beak, flying across town to its nest and with another bird and finding out the location of the nest being on top of the sign outside of the restaurant. A lot of people pretty much compare these two birds to Bob and Linda and fanart are already out with Bob and Linda as birds if you’re on either Twitter or Instagram and yeah...it was a glorious occasion and hope we can more of that in future episodes this season...even though, putting it out there, there goes the animation budget for the crew.

So final thoughts, pretty good episode to kick off the new season. The main plot pretty much stole the show, especially coming from the end of the episode with the birds. Glad to see Nat again after a season absence. Subplot...may need some work but it was alright I guess. I don’t hate it but...tolerable might be a better word to describe it. So I’ll give “The Ring (But Not Scary)”...

...a 9.5 out of 10. I know it’s high and a low 9, or rather an 8.5 would’ve been a safe choice for the rating but I have reasons why I have to give it a 9.5 because of the visuals at the end with the birds and the direction and execution of the episode was superb despite the subplot that needed some work but that’s my opinion and I will stick to my rating. And now I want to hear about yours, what do you think about this week’s episode? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Is Bob and Linda still the best couple in all the land? Are you glad about Nat’s return to the series? Will Gayle finally get a win this season? All that and your mini review in the comments down below.
