So after posting the article and my thoughts regarding Final Space having its plug pulled by Warner following the supposed merger with Discovery, you thought that today would be a total loss cause following the depressing news over one of my faves not getting renewed for another season, it looks like the animation gods decided to go towards the “soul for a soul” approach for the day with Final Space not getting a Season 4...and in return...we finally have a date for the Bob’s Burgers movie.

And thank god! We finally have a fucking date for the upcoming movie and it’s on Memorial Day weekend 2022. That is, of course, the first week of the next offseason once the upcoming season, that is Season 12, is over with. I’m just glad that we’re finally getting a date release for the upcoming film that’s been pushed one too many times ever since the start of the pandemic. It was originally going to be released last year on July 17 of 2020, but of course, coronavirus decided to fuck everything up and even if COVID-19 didn’t fuck up our plans for that year, it would have been delayed either way. Been sent to April 9, 2021, release date, only for the coronavirus to mutate to the Delta variant that we are currently going through with an epidemic of the unvaccinated, as well as...of course, winning a championship that may have a curse written all over it, which I feel like that could explain Final Space getting canned as its final strike.
Honestly though, I’m just glad that we finally got a release date for the upcoming movie on Memorial Day weekend, May 27, the year of our lord 2022. And I hope that sticks that way because we are sick and tired of the date being pushed like it’s a game of musical chairs regarding both the status of the film and of course, COVID and hopefully this will be the permanent date. Hoping for once and for all, we get some poster art, a teaser, a trailer. All that good shit after a year and a half of isolation and hearing shit getting worse and worse by the day. I want my damn film! I want my damn bread! We want this film out, but to do that, we need to kick Corona out to the curb and get everyone vaccinated. Can we do that? Please? Get vaccinated so we can get our damn bread! Teaser, hoping for a release in between the World Series and the week of Thanksgiving as a possible prediction for the release for that with the trailer...probably in between Christmas to early next year.
