The Students of Wagstaff School: Alex Papasian | yahoo201027's Bob's Burgers Discussions

Made it here, folks. Made it here. The fifth installment of the discussion pieces on the characters but the last one before heading back to the episode reviews with the upcoming Valentine’s Day episode (even though by the time that review is out, it won’t be Valentine’s Day), just be thankful that there’s the light in the tunnel...well, one of the tunnels in this roadway known as this very blog, but something had to be done with when it comes to making money because bills and stuff. That and potential escapism from the recent Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers destroying the Kansas City Chiefs with Tom Brady getting his Ariana Grande on with seven rings on his hands. Pretty much proving that God is pretty much dead. Speaking of recent champions that is the feature in this very discussion piece, and no, it’s not Brady...

Alex's Personality

It’s none other than Alex Papasian. Sorry, I mean Champion Alex Papasian because 2020 does 2020 things like having a side character that no one even heard of planting his flag on top of the mountain. The side character that no one even heard off and only appeared for three episodes and hasn’t made his return in over two years won it all but lost the popular vote...let that sink in for a moment, burger fandom. You won with no candidate who beat the likes of Peridot and Tulip Olsen only to win the Finals against Blue Exorcist and the anime community but lost the popular vote to a programmer who eats onions like it’s a normal everyday thing as a snack. Lost the popular vote, the first time in Battle of the Week history that happened, and the burger fandom had to deal with a curse that came with a trophy in a loss of a crew member, longtime hiatus, the movie being pulled, and a potential coup d’état/civil war ready to brew regarding Tina’s relationship status and who she should up with like we learn nothing from the likes of what happened with the Star vs The Forces of Evil fandom. It’s odd how the fandom didn’t even feel any ill effects when they won it all following the 2015 tournament.

Alex Papasian, folks! The sixth-grader who attends Wagstaff school who serves as the best friend to Gene Belcher. An interesting fellow in this neck of the woods regarding that he only appeared in only three episodes and much like with Darryl, haven’t seen him since Season 9. Let that also sink in, haven’t seen that guy in over two seasons. We’re talking about the pre-pandemic days since we last saw Alex on the show. And much in the grin of the likes of Susmita and Kaylee, there’s nothing to say about the guy when it comes to his personality despite that he only appeared in only three episodes. One in Season 8 and two in Season 9.

Most of the fact is that the guy, like Gene, loves food. Mostly junk food and sugary snacks but in the line of secrecy like outside the house because over at the Papasian household, in “Cheer Up Sleepy Gene”, that all of the sugar, all of the food that contains sugar, all thrown out following a movie that his parents watched about how sugar is bad. Thus, you see that he and his parents don’t get along quite well because of the healthy lifestyle building into the Papasian household. To the point where Alex would rather eat his food of junk lore in over at school, at the Belchers, at anywhere in town without his parents noticing to the point where you have to hide the evidence like he’s trying to hide a dead body.

To the point where had to run away from home and taking Gene with him to a fort with sugar packets as food rations. Sugar packets...like...unless you know any survival skills and how to kill a bird to get through at least three days while being out in the woods. Even ate a jar of peanut butter that he found when both he and Gene retreat to his (Gene) house with the help of Louise and Tina to get dry clothes, require their help, and sneak back right in. Well not before spotting his mother, who orchestrated that the family should start going through a diet, decided to have a little cheat hour by eating a scoop of ice cream, who...both he and Gene witnessed when trying to sneak back right up to Alex’s room.

Though not all junk food is created equal, because it’s not, but because that Alex may have a health issue of his own regarding an ingredient that would cause a hurricane down south that is being sesame and the impacts if Alex would come across with if he consumes food that has the thing mixed into it. And if he eats it, it’s a one-way ticket to Toilet-ville like eating something coming out of Taco Bell. Hence, you see Alex, while playing a round of RoboWizard Quest with Gene, denying the plate of pretzels and hummus from Linda because hummus has sesame in it and would make his day a living hell. I mean, we almost had that happening when Gene conspired with Doug to get him out of the position of being Courtney’s dance partner, pretty much Doug using Gene’s emotions to get what he wants after noticing that Alex is not a good fit in being a part of the competition, but Gene did stop it at the last minute before shit hits the fan. Literally, of course. But just be thankful that didn’t happen and in front of everyone...yeah, that be something Alex would never let go of. Probably beating the embarrassing moments from any of the Belcher kids or their friends had done.

Other than him enjoying all things junk food, Alex seems to be somewhat crafty and imaginative in his own right. Not bad for a side character that only appeared in only three episodes in just the last decade when it comes to constructing some stuff. Sure, the fort that he made in the woods where he dubbed it “Alex’s Alpine Oasis for Boys” was built in the woods...that happened to be made out of trash bags and was weak to withstand the elements during an overnight rain event but not in like the levels of the fort in “Fort Night” with cardboard, but the guy did construct it with his own hands when planning out his chances to run away from home the moment his parents threw away food that has sugar in the ingredients.

Not to mention, the game that both he and Gene created in RoboWizard Quest being them poking fun at the likes of Dungeons and Dragons with numbers written on the ground with tape surrounding it over at the basement of the restaurant with a wizard hat attached to a mop. And of course, gotta have a pair of dice to have the player to jump at any number that adds up to the number the player rolled. Say if you roll a 28, you have to jump to any number that adds up to 28. Though it can get difficult as the game goes on because it’s math. Just saying, if they bring up the likes of Darryl, who is a math whiz, into this game, he’ll steamroll his way to winning this bitch. Just putting it out there. I mean, Courtney tried it once at the end of “Roller? I Hardly Know Her!” but...eh, give it time. That was her first time playing. She’ll get the hang of it...eventually. But other than that, Alex is pretty much nothing more than a timid kid who enjoys eating junk food, hates any exercise, mostly in PE class, somewhat creative, but pretty much serves as Gene’s sidekick and best friend. Not in the line of “follower” but you get the idea.

Alex's Relationships and History

Onto Alex’s relationship and history on the show and much like with Courtney’s discussion that started off this so-called weekly series that will be on pause once the new episodes return, involves Gene as the center focus. Beginning with “Cheer Up Sleepy Gene” with both Gene and Alex getting exhausted from running a mile across-track for gym class. Both of them unable to feel their legs, ready to pass out, Alex getting a wedgie and feeling his underwear right up his butt and feeling more than just his legs being unable to feel while running. Thus, you have Gene using the fake vomit maneuver to convince Coach Blevins to bench him and Alex does the same when following Gene’s lead and finally got their wish and sat down by the bench where Alex invites Gene for a sleepover at his place in hopes for them to bond outside of PE class...which Gene agrees...through pressure. Really Gene, again? First being pressured into being Courtney’s boyfriend and now this? Oh god, what to do with you?

Gene did say yes to the offer with Tina and Louise, mostly Tina, giving out what to expect in your normal sleepover event at a house that isn’t yours like eating dinner with the family, watching a movie, stay up all night, and discuss stuff, and even snuck downstairs to eat something from the fridge. That would’ve helped Gene out when experiencing his first-ever sleepover with someone else as the host and be nothing more than a breeze.

Didn’t expect that other than Gene’s nervousness over him being away from his home and his family that you have Alex and his parents not getting along very along when having dinner that consists of steamed salmon, steamed potatoes, steamed greens with Alex not having it like it’s a normal dinner and you back in the day or a child you know have completed the plate around the 80% projectile with the entrée and the sides (either mashed potatoes or mac and cheese) that he or she didn’t even bother touching their vegetables (being either broccoli, peas, brussels sprouts) and even telling Gene to not follow along but ending doing it because...well, he’s the guest.

The rest of the visit for the sleepover at the Papasian household pretty much sets up what the mood of the household scene after scene with the family watching a documentary, doing the dishes, brushing teeth (with Gene somewhat go along with the taste of the toothpaste that Alex was using), and Mrs. Papasian saying good night to the two boys. As Gene said, “a total hell.” Pretty much sums up everyone following the recent super bowl...and witnessing Tom Brady getting his seventh ring.

Alex decided to shake things up for the night with him waking up in the middle of the night and takes Gene downstairs, sliding down through the rails of the staircase because the final few steps would create a noise that could awake his parents and also disturb his dog Donut to get into trouble. But Alex did plan that shit out by going through the railway and give Donut some dog treats before heading out with Gene and begin running away from home. Telling Gene his reasons for running away due to his parents putting him on a diet following that documentary that they watched about how sugar is bad and threw out everything. Causing Alex to be mad at his parents enough to say that enough is enough and decided to run away...but taking Gene, who you invited to sleepover there in hopes to bond outside of PE class, for the ride following being caught in the crossfire of the whole friction between child and parents...like...what was the endgame here? What do you expect to happen having Gene around? Sure, there would be some defending but other than that, yeah...what and why?

Alex takes Gene to the woods in the middle of the night, which almost feels like something that might not be brought up when it comes to scenarios like this because it would make uncomfortable, with Alex introducing the fort that he made where he dubbed it “Alex’s Alpine Oasis for Boys” and enter with Gene trying to convince Alex to come back and thinks that he’s making a mistake in running away from his home but keeps on denying the offer and try to make the best to camp out with sugar packets as food ration. Not to mention, using trash bags as sleeping bags. And you really don’t want to know where they go when taking a leak. Not to mention, as the rain begins to pour...

Down comes the fort. I mean, while you do have to give some credit to Alex in constructing something like a fort and had all of this planned out since the day your parents threw out all of the sugary food...yeah, a fort that is made out of trash bags as a place of living is no match against mother nature. Dude, the fort that Louise made that almost killed her, her siblings, and her friends can probably withstand...actually, don’t think so because do remember the wet trash that was originally their escape plan. And now both Alex and Gene are wet and not even the trash bags can’t even help keep their clothes dry. Causing Gene to convince Alex to get some help. Fucker again refuses to go back and instead to go to the next level in planning to exit it out of the country and into Dubai. To Dubai?! Like...Alex, I like you. You’re tied with Darryl when it comes to my favorite side characters but there has to come a time where you have to wear your big boy pants and deal with the unexpected. Thus, the two boys, at Gene’s request, head over to the restaurant to get both some dry clothes and also getting help from Tina and Louise to sneak them back right into the household. And that was witnessing Alex crying and eating peanut butter at the same time. Yeah, so that’s something coming from Alex...beating out crying while eating ice cream and sappy movies following a breakup.

Luckily, the two boys, being Gene and Alex, did make it back with Tina serving as a distraction with the peanut butter in her hand for Donut to lick so that he doesn’t wake Alex’s parents up with Louise pick locking the locks on the door for them to enter and going up the staircase, while also mentioning spotting Alex’s mom eating a tub of ice cream and upset that he witnessed his mother, the person who pushed for the whole family to go on a sugar-free diet, being a freaking hypocrite. I mean, Alex could like to call his mom out at the right time. Probably saying to her, “Hey, what the hell is this? You pushed me to eat healthy stuff that is pretty much a plate full of farts and you go behind our backs and eating a scoop of ice cream while we’re asleep. Just like that?” But probably think that it would not be a good idea, mostly because they’re up way late and out of Alex’s room and noticing both Tina and Louise with the door opened and Tina’s hand covered in peanut butter would make things go bad and have the four to get into deep trouble. Luckily, that didn’t happen and both Gene and Alex make it back to the room and sleep following that very long night out in the woods and across town but...at least these two somewhat bond.

I mean, when the first episode first aired, you think that when it comes to introducing Alex as Gene’s potential friend, it is a nice little concept for Gene to have someone he can hang out with. Of course, there’s Courtney, who is also in the same grade as Gene and Alex and like Gene, their love for music and theater, but they used to date. Not that there’s any problem with Gene and Courtney being friends, that’s fine but again, they’re former lovers. And nothing with having the likes of Zeke, Rudy, or Darryl to fit the bill because they’re also nice fits for Gene to have friends with. Zeke because he’s like everyone’s big brother to have a drink with. Rudy because he’s likable and fun to be around with and also has some hints of liking theater as well. And Darryl, despite being a year older and a grade higher, are lovers of music and despite that Darryl is smart and Gene, while being one of the nicest guys around...is also not the brightest crayon in the crayon box but could probably enjoy having his company around. But those three are friends with either Louise and/or Tina and Courtney is a former love interest, so having Alex around to be introduced to be Gene’s friend who is NOT either a past love interest or is friends with either Tina or Louise was an interesting concept for the writers to come up with. They’re pretty much friends and friends only when first upon watching the episode back when it first premiered in April of 2018...

And then “Roller? I Hardly Know Her!” happened and that’s where the animation gods decided to crank that shit up when it comes to Gene and Alex’s relationship because the first act of the episode, it seems to show that both Gene and Alex, following the events of “Cheer Up Sleepy Gene”, have bonded really close like in the levels of them becoming best friends when he met up with Alex, rather Alex met up with Gene, by the front of the school to do a round of a game they created in RoboWizard Quest. Of course, they come toe-to-toe with Courtney Wheeler and her father Doug Wheeler and ask Gene to be her dance partner, in which Gene denied the request and head off to the restaurant with Alex, Louise, and Tina and to the restaurant. In which you have Alex calling Bob as, and not shitting you on this, “Mr. Burger.” Kinda like what Teddy said to get into the joke in “OT: The Outside Toilet”. Played a few rounds, shared a secret handshake, and learned about Alex’s little heath issue regarding his allergy to sesame. So besides that, it looks like things are going well for these two, and life is like a photo album, and these two enjoying the time of their life as the bestest buddies they are, and nothing can ruin that special friendship these two shared...until...

Doug and Courtney decided to fuck it all up. Mostly Doug since he’s pretty much the bastard of the episode. Yeah, so after Gene refused to be Courtney’s dance partner earlier in the episode, both Doug and Courtney, mostly Doug, are in desperate need of a roller-skating partner for Courtney for the upcoming competition and with her old partner out of town and touring with his parents and Gene refusing the offer, it looks they ran out of options until they spot Alex and thinks that he makes a good choice...well until Doug soon realizes that picking Alex to fill in that spot was pretty much a red flag on his take. But we’ll get to Alex’s relationship with Courtney later on regarding all of this.

Gene was not happy over the fact that Alex got the position of being Courtney’s dance partner and going behind his back without telling him the moment he got the gig. And when Alex told Gene about this experience training with Courtney, Gene suspects that Alex may have a thing for Courtney and seems unphased over it. Like no jealousy over it. Otherwise...you’re gonna make the whole pairing war with Tina look like a live-action roleplaying session over at the park. Thank god that we have to avoid a possible love triangle of bullshit but again, don’t see Alex and Courtney being a couple. I just don’t see it. Gene tries to get Alex for himself by inviting him to lunch, but because Alex is training with Courtney for the upcoming competition, he doesn’t have the time to hang out with Gene.

Causing him to be upset and to sing the cover of “Alone” by Heart when singing about him missing having Alex around. And again, I don’t blame him because Alex is the only person who Gene befriended that isn’t a past love interest or is buddy-buddy with either Tina or Louise. And when finding out that he got the gig of being Courtney’s dance partner and not telling him until the very next day, it’s like he found his guy, he found someone who connects him, who gets thorough his “Gene-ness” and everything he ever does, just floats away and leaving him, like the song that he covered throughout that musical number of the episode, alone.

Of course let’s not forget the elephant in the room regarding that scene...yeah, this...Gene’s cover of the song when he misses having Alex around with them in the roller rink with Alex and Courtney rehearsing and Gene just there and witness the whole thing from top to bottom...that song cover, that scene...is the writers’ way of saying that we have a new ship. We have a new pairing entering the arena in the form of the Gene x Alex ship. And this episode, that very scene made me think to myself, “You know, maybe Gene and Alex should get together. Yeah, yeah, I think these two should get together...as a couple.” Like, if that scene or the episode as a whole doesn’t convince that Gene and Alex should be together, then I don’t know what the fuck you were doing when watching the episode. But that scene and that musical number, along with some others in the episode, pretty much sold me when it comes to shipping Gene with Alex. As for the song that Gene covered and I’m not bullshitting you on this, google the song’s lyrics yourself...

Yeah. That’s a thing even though Gene didn’t sing that verse of the damn song. Wake the fuck up, sheeple. The writers are ready to push the narrative and this is one of the narratives I can go along with. Of course, Gene went to the roller rink after being bummed over Alex ditching him and Bob said to the guy to at least support his friend on what’s he doing despite going behind his back. Yeah, that didn’t happen and instead be like that ex-boyfriend outside of your house with a radio or in this case, an iPhone and speaker, to get your former lover back with Alex telling him that now is not the time, causing him to be upset even more. And because of that, you have Doug decided to use Gene’s emotions to get Alex out of the partnership position because of knowing how bad he is. Ready to use his allergy of sesame to give Doug what he wanted in getting rid of Alex in the partnership position, not knowing that doing all of that would NOT help Gene getting Alex back but rather putting things even worse for them. Probably ending it altogether. That and Doug thinks that when asking Gene to get rid of Alex and think that he could have Gene take over the position...despite that he denied it the first time and he’s going to do it again.

Once the big day arrives, Gene comes up with Alex with a drink with sesame mixed into the cup and about to giving it to him as an apology and good luck gift with him apologizing for what happened the other night with Alex doing the same. And just as Alex was preparing to take the first sip, he apologizes to Gene for leaving him behind and not telling him about what happened. Saying that this was the first time to ever come close to a girl, we all been through when coming across the opposite sex...or same-sex, doesn’t matter and even given Gene the title of being his best friend as he is prepared for what could be a very long day ahead for the guy. Luckily, Gene did stop it before the first sip and apologizes for what happened with Doug conspiring against him and using his emotions to get his away. Alex did felt like he’s one of the ones who felt betrayed over what he is hearing but then glad that Gene didn’t follow through to the end and of course hugged it out with Alex telling Gene to take his place because he did notice his flaw when it comes to the whole competition, being having trouble lifting Courtney to the point where her knee is on his mouth, hopefully, the guy doesn’t sustain tooth damage. Not to mention him not making any sounds when clapping. Gene denied the request and instead decided to do something with Courtney for the three of them.

This leads to the three of them joining the stage together with Gene coming in as the surprising third member of the performance, pissing off Doug over the fact that the competition has a limit of two people. Not to mention regarding the idea of having Gene, Alex, and Courtney to be together to tell Doug to shove it, of course, go back to either my review of the episode or the Courtney discussion of how the three decided to come together and get back at Doug following the Gene and Alex apology session. Alex and Courtney trying to protect Gene from Doug and of course, telling him over the whole Gene trying to give him diarrhea thing, causing his mom to be mad at Doug and all three kids finish the performance that ended up getting disqualified, but it doesn’t matter because all of three of them are friends as they play a round of RoboWizard Quest to end the episode.

Then we get to “The Gene Mile” where the two are not happy over the idea of the whole school doing mile day around the block with Gene asking Alex if their attempt for an excuse note would give them a pass. Meaning that Alex is known for trying to get out of doing activities in the form of writing on a piece of paper but beginning to think that Blevins may begin to catch on about what Gene and Alex were doing when it comes to the notes and with the name of the doctor almost looking sus in Dr. Good-Doctor.

The rest of the episode with Gene is pretty much them, along with Courtney, Rudy, and Louise trying to make their escape on mile day to get a free scoop on Free Scoop Day to avoid the after school lines with Louise planning everything out and Courtney having a major role with her cat tracker to put into the backpack of Large Tommy. Of course...didn’t even bother getting Gene back when he gets left behind after he fell off his bike and get caught by Frond and was forced to head back to the mile track and for Alex, along with Louise, Rudy, and Courtney, to go on ahead and thinking that they’re doing it “for Gene”.

To the point where as everyone was enjoying their scoop, you have Alex being bummed over the idea of not having Gene around to enjoy it with. Again, almost two years since this episode first aired, for the love of God, ask the boy out! You’re the incumbent champion, for Christ’s sake?! Agreed to Louise’s idea to combine their scoops and gives it to Gene and they did, but end up getting caught by both Frond and Doug, who all have to take the fall for Gene and have to redo mile day with Gene and Tommy getting immunity. But that’s pretty much it for Alex’s relationship with Gene...and also Louise...and Tina...and Rudy. Yeah, the events of “The Gene Mile” is pretty much him and Courtney being around the Belcher kids group as new members. It was nice but that pretty much sums up that. Also again, do love the idea of giving Gene a best friend of his own who isn’t a past love interest or a friend to either Tina or Louise, and having Alex to be the representation of that idea seems to be enjoyable by the fans. And with Courtney now entering the ring following the events of Season 9, we got a friend group with Gene. His own little friend group with the likes of the two people who are in the same grade as him, it’s an interesting concept and for the love of God...Bouchard, where’s my GAC Pack episode?

Onto Alex’s relationship with Courtney and of course, I already did that back in Courtney’s discussion and hoping to not feel like I’m rehashing things for future discussions, Courtney’s relationship with Alex in her point of view, rather my take on this, them just being friends and all but that’s about it. The same goes for this one despite that being around with Courtney after Doug came up to Alex to be her dance partner for the upcoming competition because they are in desperate need with her old partner going out of town and Gene refused the offer to fill in the spot, you have Doug, being Doug, came up to the guy and became his partner, with his mom’s approval because of him getting exercise and stuff. Back to Courtney, you have Gene feeling unphased, like no signs of jealousy, over him thinking that he has grown a crush on Courtney when being around her and rehearsing. Though...not happening when it comes to that. You could say I’m only saying because I want Alex to be with Gene and you may be right about that. But also that I don’t really see Alex and Courtney as a couple.

Like I said in the Courtney discussion piece weeks ago, I see more of both her and Alex being just friends. More of a brother and sister type of relationship when it comes to these two kids. I mean, they did hurt Gene in “Roller? I Hardly Know Her!” with Alex not telling him about becoming Courtney’s partner and leaving him hanging and Courtney for taking him away at the behest of her father. Luckily they, along with Gene, did get the fucker back by going over the two-person limit, despite that they ended up getting disqualified by the end but wasn’t a total loss because they rekindled their friendship with Gene, and next thing you know, they play a round of RoboWizard Quest with Courtney doing her best to play the game and getting things hanging. Not to mention, being a part of the heist to get free ice cream, though leaving Gene behind but agreed with Louise to donate their scoop for the poor guy and also taking the fall when getting caught by both Frond and Doug. But again, I don’t see a potential romantic relationship between the two. Sure, there may be some flirting but that’s more of Courtney doing the flirting and onto Gene and Gene only, but I don’t see it with her and Alex. See more of them sticking to just being friends in the brother and sister type of relationship for these two.

Then, of course, to close out the discussion piece for Alex is his relationship with his parents and uh...yeah, “Cheer Up Sleepy Gene”...he doesn’t get along with his parents well when Gene attended his first sleepover at the Papasian household. But that’s mostly because of his parents throwing out each and every junk food following a documentary that they watched, causing Alex to grind his gears enough to run away from home, only for Gene to slap some sense into him and face it like a man. Even though he’s still going to eat some junk food, it’s just he may need to hide the evidence before heading back home or being spotted by either his mother or father whenever he’s either alone or with Gene and/or Courtney or any of the Belcher siblings and their friends.

Though we don’t know anything about the dad, his mother is there for only two episodes in Alex’s history of the show with her being somewhat of the person in charge of the family since she was the one who called for the banning of sugar in the household and tries to establish a healthy lifestyle. And even though Alex is not happy with the idea with his parents, mostly his mother, throwing out all things junk food, he has to face it, even if he hates it, because well...Gene had to slap some sense into him but nothing to worry outside the house. Though he and Gene did spot her in the middle of the night and eat a spoonful of ice cream from the freezer and wanted to call her out with her hypocrisy and all since she called the shots in wanting the family to live a healthy lifestyle; but because he doesn’t want to get into trouble for being up that late and out of their rooms and in different clothes...and that’s another thing, how come she didn’t noticed both her son and his friend wearing different clothes upon waking up the very next morning? Like what up with that? Probably have to go with it without any mention of it like she’s somehow gets trapped in a genjutsu.

Though when she appeared again in “Roller? I Hardly Know Her!” when Doug came up to Alex to be Courtney’s dance partner after Gene declined the offer, his mom seems to be on board with the idea because it can give him the proper exercise that he needs when being on the rink. And he is somewhat supportive of his son on doing the competition, despite that Gene was not keen on the idea. But regardless, she is supportive of his son doing the thing and I gotta bring up that scene when Alex called out Doug that he was trying to get Gene to poison him with sesame, you have Alex’s mom go all momma bear mode and ready to pummel on Doug around the rink as Alex, Courtney, and Gene put up the finishing act of the performance and ending up getting disqualified. So that’s something. That was nice and nice for Doug to get what’s coming to him...to the point where the entire Papasian family doesn’t want to be around the fucker following what happened but they’ll let Courtney slide because she is a good friend to Alex and probably happy that he found a friend who is a girl. Not girlfriend, again, don’t see that happening.

But that’s about it for the discussion piece on Alex Papasian and much like with Darryl...please bring the guy back. It’s been two seasons since we last saw him and think it’s time for him to make a comeback. I mean come on, man! Come on! But that does it for the Alex discussion and now, back to the reviews with “Romancing the Beef” coming in on Valentine’s Day...is what I would say about that in being on time because I guess it’s so much easier and less time consuming than the discussion...but...

Apparently, there’s a massive freaking ice storm ready to disrupt operations that could possibly make me lost power for possibly around next weekend because Mother Nature decided to be a massive cranky ol’ hag for ruining everything every time I do stuff. I didn’t know if this is one of the punishments from the Succubus for that world series title back in 2017? But regardless, keep up to date for updates while enduring that all next week, god help me on that. That’s all Twitter to follow there for that. Instagram and Tumblr for other stuff with the birthday and fandom history posts ready to queued up and ready to go for when the power goes out with Twitter being the place where you can updates behind the scenes and for when to resume stuff. And while that is happening...

You know what to do. PayPal, Patreon, and Ko-fi pages are the way to go when helping your boy out in improving the page and help to pay the bills to keep the lights on. I feel like at this rate, should probably do YouTube because I can do something during a freaking power outage but...eh. Review resumes next week with “Romancing the Beef”, but that’s up to what’s about to come down next week with the incoming winter storm ready to cause shit. And until then, I’ll see y’all later.
