Bob's Burgers Season 12, Episode 22 Review: Replicant of Endearment Part 2: Tina's Revenge Tour 2k22 | yahoo201027's Bob's Burgers Reviews

Another season is in the books, ladies and gentlemen. So enters the dreaded offseason...or so I thought because we got the movie in a few days at the time of posting. I already got my ticket purchased and reserved a seat at the theater nearby and I am set to go for opening night on the 26th. So that means I’m ready for the big night and of course, my reaction and review of the film. Still need to find a way to pick which I’m format I’m going without consuming any time I have working on the upcoming review. But that being said, let’s get to the final episode review of this season of Bob’s Burgers, shall we?

In this week’s episode of Bob’s Burgers, where we left off in the previous episode, Tina decides to go on a revenge tour by setting her eyes on the touch screen from the news that led to her being made fun of by Tammy and Jocelyn as Bob and Linda continues to find out who wrote on the bathroom room, only to be distracted by Tina’s potential actions in my spoilerific review of the twenty-second and final episode of Season 12 of Bob’s Burgers, titled “Some Like It Bot Part 2: Judge-bot Day”.

From what I said in the previous episode, this two-parter was the perfect way to close out the current season of the show and how balls off the wall it is with the first part last week with the Blade Runner parody. And I did say at the end of last week’s review that I hope the two-parter can stick the landing after an explosive first parter that ended with a cliffhanger? Well...I mean...it did stick the landing alright but there were a few hiccups along the way with this episode. Mostly with the standoff portion of the episode between Tina and the rest of the family. Along with how they handled the subplot from last week over the mystery of who wrote on the wall...spoiler alert, we didn’t get the mystery of who’s the asshole responsible because everyone got sidetracked with Tina’s little problem in the main plot.

I mean hey, it’s been a while since we last had a two-parter and when it came to these things we got in Season 4 and Season 8 and they’re pretty much bangers. This one, while last week’s episode to start off the two-parter was banging and just went wild with the Blade Runner parody for the show, this one was alright despite the slight skid on its way to the runway while trying to stick the landing. Because that’s pretty much the important thing to have when it comes to two-parters, three-parters, any parters, pretty much a season or a few episodes that tell a story, a mini-story or miniseries, is where we get to the finale, the conclusion, and hoping for something that caught the viewer’s attention during the run and turns out to be good and enjoyable, is for this plane ride to stick the landing. Some did it without any hassle whatsoever. Take a look at Amphibia with its finale as an example. Or the same thing but ran into some turbulence like with this two-parter to close out the season. Because the last thing anyone needed when it comes to storytelling episodes is a possible plane crash. Go and tell the people who watched through the entirety of the final season of Game of Thrones. But for the final time this season before we go back to my bullshit until September, or a few days with the movie, let’s break this episode piece by piece. This is “Some Like It Bot Part 2: Judge-bot Day”.

Of course, the episode kicks off with what happened last week with Tina showing off her new shirt and then getting ridiculed by Tammy and Jocelyn for their segment at school which resulted in her venting her way to writing the Blade Runner parody which ultimately leads to her to where we are now with her wanting to smash the giant touch board just to get some brownie points for herself after being mocked one too many times. That and also Bob and Linda dealing with a serial asshole responsible for writing on the wall in which, spoiler alert, didn’t serve shit. Actually, no...no, let’s start with that.

Because throughout last week, this has been teasing us along with the Blade Runner parody from Tina and where the direction is heading. I know that people don’t give a crap about it and want to focus on that, but to turn it into a game of whodunit and have everyone on the verge of making bets for when the second part of the two-parter arrives, we didn’t get an answer. We didn’t get an answer on who is the person responsible for this shit. Sure, they got sidetracked because of what Tina is planning on doing and has to stop her from doing the wrongful deed of smashing the touch board with a hammer as potential payback from being ridiculed by Tammy and Jocelyn in front of the entire school, but an answer should’ve at least put this book to a close instead of having it interrupted and leave it hollow. This feels like a waste coming from this two-parter. And if we’re gonna be honest, much like with the two-parter back in Season 4, at least the subplot with Tina chaining herself to the carrousel ride was wrapped up. Sure, it got torn down after that, but at least that got a conclusion before the family rescues Bob and Fischoeder from drowning.

So the episode begins with Louise and Gene racing their way to the house after school when noticing that something is off regarding Tina’s behavior and to see any clues to drive her to what she’s planning on doing. Switching over to the restaurant with Bob and Teddy as Teddy gets up from his seat and checks on the bathroom after a random customer comes out from it and sees if it’s any of the random customers that were behind the attack. Though it looks like there’s no writing on the wall, so Bob could have a sigh of relief for now and treats it as if he’s in the eye of the hurricane but we still don’t know who is the person responsible for the vandalism. But that gets interrupted by Louise and Gene as they arrive at the restaurant and then make their way upstairs to Tina’s room to look for clues...

Only for Linda to be the first one to do the job by tearing the room apart while looking for the clues herself. Bob joins and much like with the kids, is surprised that Linda tore through the room in search of her erotic friend fictions with clues on what Tina is planning on doing. And everyone tore through the room from left to right but all they can find is nothing. Just random stuff all across the area. One of which being a box...that is filled with chewed-up gum from Jimmy Jr...Jesus fucking Christ, first the gym socks, now the chewed-up gum? Tina, I get that you like the man, though the majority of the fandom might somewhat disagree, but what the hell are you doing? You are trying to build a shrine to him as if you’re Helga from Hey Arnold where she had a secret shine to Arnold hidden deep into her closet. But it wasn’t long for Bob to find the erotic friend fictions as he was about to sit down on Tina’s chair and notices a lump in the seat. She hid her writings inside the chair. So I’m guessing that ever since the whole issue with Tammy back in “Bad Tina” is where she needs to find a way to make sure that this doesn’t happen again. Bob finds the set of journals and the Belcher family decides to read one-by-one in hopes to find some clues but are unable to find something to find their lead.

Going from the completion of the Grease parody at the end of the film where you have Tina and Jimmy Jr going up in the air, in the car, breaking logic, but it’s Tina’s fantasy and I think that happened in the actual film, how should I know, I haven’t seen the film. So no clues from the Grease story. Into the Jurassic Park parody, not in a middle of a hurricane during filming, where you have Zeke with a bandaged leg, Courtney, and Darryl (nice to see my boy back and also surprised that Aziz Ansari reprised his role and he’s in the movie later this week but hey, if Ansari’s back...then more Darryl because I miss my boy. The boy is back!) being chased by Tina as a t-rex and was this close to possibly consuming them before being sidetracked by Jimmy Jr as a brachiosaurus. Again, no clues from that story. And the same goes for her take on the movie “Saving Private Ryan”. No clues for either one until Louise spots the recent story that Tina worked on, that being Blade Runner, and begins reading it.

Having Tina, where we left off after being separated from Jimmy Jr and Zeke and are about to be sent to Wagstell for a full memory wipe after being on the run, ready to sneak her way into the building but needs a disguise to make sure she doesn’t deal with the same fate as Jimmy Jr and Zeke. So she decides to disguise herself as a worker to avoid getting caught, enters the building without any of the guards or scientists getting suspicious, and rather than taking the elevators, she heads towards the stairs, and removes the hat and beard as she makes her way upstairs to find the memory wiping room. Seeing a peek of a live security cam of the Tammy and Jocelyn security replicants stripping their clothes and revealing their replicant bodies. Causing Tina to make her way, without getting caught red-handed with a disguise in hand, and made it to the memory wipe room. Which transitions from the story to real-life with the actual Tina arriving at the doorstep of the newsroom and so begins her revenge tour. And I guess since this is still the Blade Runner parody, she’s no longer going for the Rachael route and instead, goes for the Elle route. Yeah, I’m referencing Black Lotus because the character in that show, Elle, a replicant, went on a revenge tour after surviving the “doll hunt”, which is pretty much four, five people who participated in killing replicants for sport and takes down each participant one by one. This is pretty much Tina’s revenge tour and the “wow or weird segment” is her doll hunt.

But why stop there? Because we head back to the story courtesy of the Belchers where Tammy and Jocelyn exit out from the memory wipe room and for Tina to begin to make her move and get into the system. And that is more than enough for the Belchers to get caught on what is really going on and what Tina is planning on doing at school. And it’s all coming from the next page of the journal where she wrote down what she’s planning on doing, which is to sneak into the school newsroom and smash the giant touch board with a hammer. Also wrote that she wishes that she doesn’t get caught or the family to ever find out and try to stop her. Both of those things are beyond the show’s power. And enough for the Belcher family to put down what they’re doing, that includes the hunt of who’s behind the writing on the wall, and run off to the school to stop Tina from what she’s planning on doing.

Speaking of Tina, she got her opportunity to strike once Tammy, Jocelyn, and Mr. Grant exit from the newsroom for the day and lock the door as the school lights turn off. Causing Tina to get the green light and makes her way to the door, pulls out Louise’s lock picking kit without Louise’s consent, and attempts to unlock the door...too bad that she didn’t even get a chance to learn from Lock Picking 101 from the “Louise’s School of How to be Mischievous”. Heard that it’s going through some budget cuts. So Tina doesn’t know how to pick locks. I mean...there’s a window right there. Should’ve at least broken it and unlocked the door or at least gone through the vent and crawl your way in. But no, let’s unlock the door with no skills of picking locks. Yet you somehow hid yourself in Jimmy Jr’s locker at one point for no reason whatsoever. I worry about you sometimes. But it looks like Tina’s luck is about to be run out after a few pick needles later when being caught red-handed by the security guard at the school, Yuli, goddamn, this dude is pretty much everywhere with his job. The school, Family Funtime, the roller rink. He’s pretty much the journeyman of security guards in this small coastal Mid-Atlantic town. Tina goes on the lam to avoid getting into trouble but it did buy her some time to hide as Yuli’s age decides to catch up to him by pulling a hammy and causes Tina to lead to the one room where she can hide from him. The locker room. Most importantly...the boys’ locker room. Because of course, that would be the one place for her to hide. I mean, the lockers are one of the many places to hide as long as you follow the dos and don’ts of surviving a horror film.

We switch back to the Belchers for a bit as they come downstairs in a “holy shit, we need to hurry before our daughter might do stupid shit like smashing a giant tablet” mood with Linda feeling stunned over the fact that her daughter is about to commit a crime and thinks that this could be put a massive wrench for her upcoming birthday. Though this is Tina we’re talking about, committing something like smashing school property isn’t in her nature. Then again, I said in “Yes Without My Zeke” review back in 2019 that she should’ve sabotaged the help to clean up Zeke’s mess that he made but didn’t. Still think that someone should’ve called her out on that. But I guess the damage is already done. And rather than taking the car, which is on the other side of the block from the street and with little time that they have, they have to use their legs to do all of the work on their way to school, much to Bob and Gene’s dismay about using their legs to get to school. It is a race against the clock and let’s be frank unless you have the powers of teleportation or stopping time or the ability to fly, you might as well use those legs to good use on your way out.

Transitioning back to the locker room and hiding inside the locker of the boys’ locker room, Tina begins to think to herself that she should quit while she’s ahead in hopes of not getting into huge trouble. Because even though she had been ridiculed by Tammy and Jocelyn one too many times with their segment through the giant video board, not just her but also everyone at school, and is just sick and tired of being judged just for being herself, she’s not willing to take the risk of smashing the item in question and make the situation even worse for her. Comes down to not getting into trouble but continuing to be made fun of or do the dirty deed which would result in a huge punishment that could go into her permanent record. Well, take it to Replicant Tina in her vision to tell her to take the risk. Pretty much manipulating her, well...herself to do what is supposed to do. Which is to smash the video board and put an end to the judgment from her peers. Thinking that if she does so, despite the punishment she would get and how severe it should be, the judging would stop. And that’s enough for her to continue to do the dirty work but she can’t do that because Yuli is in the room and is in search of her. Hoping for a miracle to come so she makes her way back to the doorstep of the newsroom.

And she did as Yuli gets a phone call from Greg and asks about a photo that he sent and is about to head over to the computer lab to get the photo sent. But he has to make the photo first and in photoshop. I hardly believe that photoshop would be there on any of the school computers. Sure, there are design classes from here to there, but you do know people can abuse the crap out of the software program, right? But that’s more than enough for Tina to get the green light and make her way back to the newsroom. Which is at the exact same time as the Belchers finally made it to the school but because of the doors being locked, they need to find a way to sneak in by going through the window. The same way of how the kids got into the school on a Saturday, again, from Season 9. Though that was because they need a small person to get in to unlock the doors and that’s how we got to be introduced to Arnold.

Tina enters the newsroom, finally, and is about to do the dirty deed, even though she accidentally knocked down a microphone while making her way to the touch screen but a sigh of relief for her because Yuli is preoccupied with him making a photo and has to make a choice of either a shadow drop or a glowing outline. Almost feels like how people would do while making PowerPoint presentations for their class. Tina pulls out the hammer from her backpack and is about to do the dirty deed that could have a major impact on her future, only to be interrupted when she hears her family outside as they’re about to make their way inside to stop Tina, only to see her peeping from the window behind them and thus, this is what the third act of the episode is mostly going to be focusing on. A standoff.

The family tries to reason with Tina in an attempt to have her to stand down while she’s ahead. And even though Louise wants her to do it, not helping with the situation but at least Tina is doing something that caught her attention from reading through the Blade Runner fanfiction, the family are concerned about what Tina is planning on doing after what happened. Unable to know the reason what led to her to the current situation at hand. Leading to Tina, going through a musical number, telling her family the events of last week and how we got here for this week. Telling that about the shirt that she showed off to school, wanting some attention, wow the crowd, and just wanting to be true to be herself. But then Tammy and Jocelyn shown her shirt on the news and poke fun of it to the whole school and she was not having it. To the point where she had to go to her erotic friend fictions as a form of escapism which ultimately leads us to where we are now following that cliffhanger at the end of last week’s episode.

This also leads us to a little “what if” coming from Tina during the musical number of her motive of wanting to smash the screen. Imagine what life is like without any judgmental comments whatsoever and everyone is good about their day. Showing the Belcher kids with Tina wearing the new shirt that landed her to be the news and sitting at the table to eat their lunch. Not just them but as the camera zooms out during that fantasy, you also have Jimmy Jr and Zeke, of course. But you also have Darryl, Rudy, Kaylee, and Susmita sitting by the table as well as the camera shifts away from points it towards back to Tina. Which sort of solidifies Susmita and Kaylee’s positions in the Belcher kids’ group. Much a grin to Alex and Courtney back in “The Gene Mile” following the events of “Roller? I Hardly Know Her”. And of course, once Tammy and Jocelyn exit out from the lunch line is where her fantasy decides to send them to the Australian outback for what they did. Wishing for a world where everyone can be free to do whatever they want without being judged or ridiculed. But not too free. I get that this is America and Freedom of Speech is a thing where we make our own opinions, but there are limits. There are limits. But Tina just wanted to be free to be herself without being judged or being called names and if it means smashing the touch board into a billion pieces, then fine by her.

But the Belchers disagree in the musical number because if she were to do what is planning on doing, think of the negative consequences that could have for her. Her getting expelled from school. Possibly commit a crime and could land her in court and possibly jail time for vandalizing school property. Making things even more difficult for the family if she were to do it. Even brought up that notion of “Don’t listen to them. They’re haters. Ignore them”. It’s just Tina took that personally because she worked very hard to get the shirt with her own money and just want to be herself. Is that so wrong to ask? It is wrong to be weird? Is it wrong to be different? Is it wrong to be yourself? Tammy and Jocelyn didn’t get the memo in this two-parter but Tina does. Let the girl express herself. The song pretty much goes back and forth between Tina and the rest of the family but it’s not enough for the Belchers to convince Tina to stand down and was about to smash the screen into high gear...

Only to be stopped by Tammy, who entered the room to get her ChapStick before heading back. Was brought in by Yuli, who was preoccupied with the photo that he is currently making for Greg. And now notices what Tina is planning on doing, making the situation even worse for not just Tina, but also the Belchers because Tammy just became the eyewitness to the event that is about to happen and could be ready to snitch to Yuli and could have Tina be kicked out for what is planning on doing. Tina tries to reason with Tammy that the segment that she and Jocelyn are doing throughout the past few days isn’t working. Stating that it’s bad, mean-spirited, and makes them feel bad about themselves as if they’re being discriminated against. But knowing Tammy, she wouldn’t listen. She won’t budge to Tina’s demands to have the segment shut down, something that she told Mr. Grant but failed to get her complaints through, and would rather tell Yuli about what Tina is doing and her into trouble. Thus, having Tina to get ready to take the risk and smash the touch screen...all because of her being tired of all of the constant bullying. So if anyone were to blame for all of this, it’s Tammy and Jocelyn.

Bob and Linda once again reason with Tina after hearing her and Tammy’s argument over the segment and telling Tina that sometimes people are going to judge and whether you like the comments or not, it’s normal to have opinions. Whether being good or bad. Even brought up the writing on the bathroom wall issue for a bit as a part of the whole situation of what negative responses can do to people. And that we all overreact to what everyone is going to say. Because let’s face it, in this day of age, especially with social media being the norm of the land, everyone is going to be judgy. We’re all pretty much judgmental assholes if you think about it whenever you send out a comment or tweet. It’s human nature to judge and again, freedom of speech. You’re free to be entitled to your opinion, as long as you don’t cross the line and try to be threatening. Mostly because big brother is watching. So after numerous attempts and a threat by Tammy, Tina finally decides to stand down from her revenge tour and hands the hammer back to Bob as she prepares to leave the school but then hides once again as Yuli enters the room and tells Tammy that he’s done with the image, which you really don’t have to tell her that, and is ready to turn in Tina. And...this is where I’m going to go on a potential tirade on what I’m about to say next. Yuli asks Tammy to know where Tina is and even though Tammy wants to be the bitch that she is and was originally thinking of ratting Tina out and getting her out, she instead lies to Yuli and saves Tina’s butt from being kicked out.

This is where I’m going to have some issues with this. Mostly with the whole rivalry, if you want to call it that, between Tina and Tammy. Because ever since her debut back in Season 2, Tina tries her damn best to try and be friendly toward Tammy. Normally because she was the new girl. Probably the popular girl at best if you think about it when it comes to her character. She tried her best to get to her good side but threatened to blackmail her by taking her erotic friend fiction just to do whatever the fuck you want, falsely accusing her of being the “mad pooper” because of her gaining traction for the school news, fighting over something stupid like a piece of jewelry that landed them and the other kids to Saturday detention, stealing her costume idea for the competition on Halloween, setting up her own babysitting service just to one-up Tina, creating her own time capsule (though that’s mostly due to Tina being demanding over what’s going into the capsule), stealing her crystal, destroying the photo that would’ve given her a good grade in her photography class, and now in this two-parter with her news segment that may have destroyed Tina’s self-esteem that led to Tina originally planning on smashing the touch board...Jesus fucking Christ, Tammy keeps on shitting on Tina and her attempts to be friendly towards her.

Because even though Tammy may have saved Tina from being caught by Yuli, as well as her switching things up with the segment in the next scene on the next day, we know this fucking song and dance! They can try to be buddy-buddy with each other in one episode, possibly a ceasefire like with “Sit Me Baby, One More Time” when dealing with Kendra, but you do know that once we get to the next episode, we’re back to square fucking one. And I know that you might say “Oh, Tammy might have an issue with her ego.” “Tina might have a good heart but can be easily manipulated at times.” “Production order is out of place.” But much like with some countries if you look at the geopolitical scale of things, this shit takes time. And this “relationship” between Tina and Tammy is pretty much beating a dead horse when it comes to their so-called rivalry. I get that each and every Belcher (with the exception of Gene) have their own rival. Bob has Jimmy Pesto. Linda has Colleen and Cynthia. Louise has Logan and Chloe. And with Tina, it’s Tammy. And I get that because it would at least build some characterization and people would pay for this shit. And we know what’s the result of this. Whether being the main character getting a win and their rival getting hit by karma or at least call it a fucking draw.

And guess why Tammy only did it with her segment that led to Tina feeling butthurt? It’s because she got braces and in hopes to avoid being ridiculed by her peers, she decided to come up with the news segment and make her braces getting the “wow” treatment, and everyone else, including Tina, Zeke, and Jimmy Jr, getting hit with insults. Hypocritical bitch. What the fuck?! I mean, it would take a fucking miracle for Tammy to at least be friendly towards Tina without wanting to throw up. But I guess we might be getting there, said no one. Because knowing this show, and this isn’t me shitting on it, especially with the movie coming out in a few days, we’re gonna go back to them wanting to rip each other’s throats off. Either have Tammy go through some sort of redemption arc in the likes of...oh I don’t know, Pacifica (Gravity Falls), Sasha (Amphibia), or Amity (The Owl House) who had their arcs, or have Tina stand up for herself and call her out. Remember what I said back in my “FOMO You Didn’t” review and again the review to last week’s episode, this shit needs to change. Give Tina better friends is one thing on the Christmas list. Possibly with Susmita much like with that short scene last week with them talking to each other by the basketball court. But also have either Tammy going through a redemption arc or Tina to stand up for herself. Fuck!

We’re entering the final two minutes of the episode and also the season with, of course, Tammy switching the segment up in Tina’s favor on the news in front of the homeroom crowd, again, either go through a redemption arc or have Tina to stand up for herself. Linda wrapping up a pair of black jeans for Tina’s upcoming birthday, which something tells me that it may or may not be possible to show Tina turning 14. Unless the movie in the coming days mentions Tina’s eighth-grade graduation because the film is set on the week before summer break, it looks like we might not be getting that. Going back to the restaurant and of course, you see that one guy this dangerously close to falling flat on his face from the cracks, we have no answer on who’s responsible for the writing on the wall but Bob decides to take up the words of Jay-Z and to go brush his shoulders off because of the speech he and Linda made to have Tina to stand down from smashing the touch board. Again, a waste of what was building up from last week over the notion of who’s behind the writing on the wall. Oh, but at least Louise and Gene got their boba and of course, they had to order it in one huge ass cup that made the Big Gulps at the 7-Eleven look like teacups. At least we got a conclusion with that mini-side story for that. But not at least name a person of interest for the writing on the wall? Man, what the fuck?

But at least we got a conclusion for the Blade Runner parody with Tina hacking through the system in hopes to save Jimmy Jr and Zeke from having a full memory wipe as they get the wipe and get sent to the assembly line and instead of being a normal replicant like with everyone else, Replicant Tina’s hacking lead to Jimmy Jr to dance and the others being involved and this continues on all the way to the credits to close out the season. Was hoping for a little sneak with the camera panning towards the sidewalk and getting some rumble, rumble as a tease but at least we got someone almost falling face flat once again as the condition gets even shittier as we prepare to transition to the movie.

Reaction/Thoughts:

So all and all, what do I think about the season finale of Bob’s Burgers? Well, despite the few tirades that I had to give out, especially with the Tina and Tammy portion of the review over the fact that Tammy saved Tina from being caught, this was an alright, if not, good episode. Sure, there are a few hiccups along the way in the duration of the episode, mostly in part of the pacing and how the subplot with the mystery of the writing on the wall being sidetracked because of Tina’s little issue that’s been plaguing the two-parter, but at least it somewhat sticks the landing with this two-parter.

I mean, yeah, that little standoff in the third act of the episode with Tina and her family by the school window feels a bit dragged out and expected that Tina would stand down, but at least the moral in the episode wasn’t too bad because Tina went through a lot of shit that led to her to smash the touch board thanks in part to Tammy and Jocelyn. Almost telling what negative effects a person can have from bullying. Tina worked hard to get a new shirt and wants to express herself to the masses and Tammy and Jocelyn decide to fuck it all up with their segment to the point where she turns to her friend fiction as a form of escapism and wants to destroy the touch board. It pretty much boils down to not listening to the haters and just being yourself. Just because you’re weird and unusual whether by what you wear or based on your personality doesn’t make you a second-class citizen. And I guess Tina learned that the hard way the moment she decides to stand down.

And...yeah, I get. I get. The whole tirade that I made with Tina and Tammy with the scene with Tammy saving Tina from getting into trouble and decides on her behalf by switching up with the segment, as I said earlier in the review, either Tammy needs to go through a redemption arc or Tina has to stand up to her because we all know this song and dance by know. They’ll go back to hating each other once we get to the next episode. I mean, I could see them trying to become friends once they get into high school, either in their junior or senior year, but right now...I doubt it. So shit has got to change. Shit has got to change in the next season once the Fall arrives.

So final thoughts, despite the few hiccups throughout the episode, mostly with how the subplot with the writing on the wall being sidetracked and never resolved, it’s an alright, if not, a good episode to close out the season. And wait until Season 16 in like 2025-2026 for another two-parter. I swear these two-parters are pretty much a once-in-every-four seasons event. So I’ll give “Some Like It Bot Part 2: Judge-bot Day”...

An 8 out of 10. And because it’s the season finale of the series, doing the math to add up every episode this season by adding and dividing through the average, it should come down to...

A 6 out of 10 as the final score for Season 12. Yeah, this season has been lackluster with episodes going from the range of crap to average with the exception of last week’s episode, this week’s episode, and Manic Pixie Crap Show being the good episodes that I’d enjoyed this season alone. So 6 out of 10 is the final score. And so...that’s it...Season 12 is over. And now...our Super Bowl is finally here. The Bob’s Burgers Movie in theaters. I’m seeing it on opening night on the 26th, so uh...big moment for the burger fandom. Waited for five years since it was announced back in 2017. Five years and four Covid waves later...we are here. We freaking fracking here. Let’s go, ladies and gentlemen! Let’s go! A review for the film is coming once I see the movie. Hopefully around this Memorial Day weekend. Content for the summer to pass the time...we’ll see. We’ll see about that.

Follow me over on Tumblr, Twitter, and Instagram for updates and behind-the-scenes stuff during the summer break. Of course, we have the ongoing Battle of the Week Voting Tournament that is nearing the playoffs. Only three rounds in the group stages left in the voting tournament. This week’s match includes Gene Belcher (Bob’s Burgers) and Marco Diaz (Star vs The Forces of Evil). Poll closes on Saturday. And of course, y’all should know the drill by now...

Follow me over at PayPal, Patreon, and Ko-fi pages to help your boy out in both improving the page and helping pay the bills to keep the lights on. That should do it for the Season 12 reviews. We’ll be back in September for Season 13. And of course, the film’s review sometime this Memorial Day weekend. Thank y’all so much for sticking around this season and until next time, wash your hands, wear a mask, get vaccinated and boosted, and also remind y’all that you are loved, you are beautiful, be true to who you are, and have a safe and happy Summer.
