Bob's Burgers Season 11, Episode 17 Review - The Underground Secret Finger Drip Show | yahoo201027's Bob's Burgers Reviews

We back from the two-week Easter break since the last episode back in March where...uh...we had an episode that was a complete and total tire fire regarding the whole Tina falling for a guy who isn’t even freaking real, but filled with fanwank with the recurring characters serving as background non-speaking cameos. That included my boy Darryl. This week also involves a certain incumbent champion that hasn’t made his spot in over two fucking years. So uh...happy birthday to me, though by the time this review is posted, it’d be the day after. So uh...thanks for the birthday messages that I got or didn’t get in the DMs. And nothing said anything like that like with a brand new Bob’s Burgers as the offseason is right around the corner and we may now experiencing the art...of the finger drip.

In this week’s episode of Bob’s Burgers, Tina goes all Sophie’s Choice with the two decisions that she has to make in either follow the Hall Monitor’s code and be a spaz at the behest of Mr. Frond or break the rules just for once and join the new trend that took Wagstaff by storm with their fingers as Bob and Linda try to come up with ideas for Teddy to sneak food into the theaters in my spoilerific review of the seventeenth episode of Season 11, titled “Fingers-loose”.

Trends is the name of the game in this week’s episode because everyone is doing it. Mostly with the kids and they’re doing it the most. Though you think that with them doing trends, it mostly coming from the internet, around social media nowadays with whatever is going on over places like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok. And those are pretty much there, just to garner views and stuff like it’s some sort of popularity contest. Even if that trend could result in injuring or even killing yourself without even noticing it. Okay, none of that happened with Bob’s Burgers this week, but we have an episode where you have each of the Wagstaff students doing an underground trend involving dressing up their fingers, experiencing the drip, and prance around like it’s one of those shows you see in movies where, and possibly politically incorrect on this day, where you have the performer perform and the men going bonkers while the music is playing in the background. Guess that’s pretty much sums up the whole finger prancing trend in a nutshell.

Of course, it is a Tina episode and unlike with what happened in the last episode, the episode before the two-week Easter break...yeah, we don’t talk about that. The scars are still fresh from what happened. This episode pretty much got rid of that completely. This was a pretty good episode, having Tina to be put in a very hard situation, though somewhat predictable when it comes to the outcome and saving her skin. Almost feels like a retread of what happened in...well...a mixture of both “Midday Run” in Season 5 and “The Hormone-iums” in Season 6...mostly “Midday Run” with Tina being the hall monitor and do what Frond say, only to disobey him at the end. But still, better than what happened two weeks ago. Oh yeah, and there’s also a subplot with Teddy...which ended short, so less baggage to carry in what is pretty much another episode of The Tina Show, this is “Fingers-loose”.

We start off the episode with Tina, as the hall monitor, serving as an usher for open house day and escorting everyone into the auditorium as Tina prepares to put on a video for the open house with everyone in attendance in what is pretty much the show’s version of fanservice with almost every recurring character in attendance, demoted to background status, except for some, as they prepare to watch something. That something being Tina’s hand doing some dancing, the trend known as finger prancing, that shook Mr. Frond to the core on the day of the open house at the school. Of course, the audience, almost every recurring character is there, other than the Belchers with Bob and Linda wearing a vest and a pit, more on that in the subplot, where you have the Papasian family, not just Alex’s mom who just appeared in the last episode in the festival. You also have Rudy’s dad present. Tammy’s parents there. Ass Hat Joe as well. The same goes for Jimmy Pesto, now accused of possibly wanting to overthrow democracy.

You also have the students as well, not just Louise and Gene in one end and Tina setting up camp to show the video of her with Courtney as she is seen talking to Chloe. You have Zeke and Jimmy Jr interacting. You have the Pesto twins there. Millie as well; of course, finally solved that question of whether the headgear that she wore in Season 8 was going to either stays or goes and now we have our answer because later on in the episode, normally with characters with braces, their teeth are visible. Much like with The Great North with Judy being the only character who has braces on her. Not in this episode with Millie. So I guess either they forgot to add that to her face, just take away the headgear and keep the braces, or she removes the braces altogether along with the headgear. Then, of course, you have Darryl and Alex in the same freaking room. Fuck it, I’ll take the breadcrumbs. Sure, they don’t have any lines much a grin to the last episode, mostly with Darryl being there either being over at a lunch table along with Susmita and Peter or being one of the kids who came up to the water booth after eating something spicy. So it’s nice to see my boy again. And same goes for Alex. Almost two years since we last saw him. Of course, the whole Middleditch bombshell may be the prime factor for why Alex hasn’t appeared since 2019 despite the bombshell was dropped just a few weeks ago. Oh yeah, and there’s also the Battle of the Week Voting Tournament last year where Alex ended up doing 2020 a favor and fuck shit up by becoming the first secondary character and the youngest to participate to win the voting tournament. But I guess with Darryl in the last episode and again for this week’s episode, might as well take the breadcrumbs.

Of course, this episode is being treated as a noir for no reason with Tina writing on her journal in a dark and rainy night as she writes down her week, doing her job as a hall monitor and being the law of the school and has everyone to follow the rules and all, that also including stopping Gene and Louise playing with the water fountain and cleaning the writing on the lockers. And of course...

You have Tina stopping Zeke and have him spit out his wad of gum, only for Tina to give him a new stick of gum onto his ear for him to chew later on. Probably consider that, I guess you could say, a pairing moment between Tina and Zeke with her giving him a new stick to gum for him to chew on. I mean, this is written by the pair of writers who once shafted Jimmy Jr’s development that was over seven seasons to be sent into the woodchipper in a 22-minute run. Can’t tell if the Molyneux sisters, who are the writers of this week’s episode, are for Tina and Zeke to be a couple and not wanting Tina to be with Jimmy Jr or just added there to the episode because of fanservice. That’s why.

Anyway, the open house is coming up with Frond telling the rest of the hall monitor unit that everything has to perfect for the superintendent and to make sure nothing goes wrong. Mostly him wanting the event to be perfect, so he can get a weekend off to Sarasota for a seminar for the counselors to attend. Hence, why Frond wants everything to be perfect to get things going his way. You know, I could see why each character on the show hating on Frond for no whatever reason. Could say misunderstood and all, but I feel like this season alone, yeah...not looking good for the guy. Mostly with Tina and her dilemma, either with the time capsule issue or to where we are in this episode. Ending up biting her right in the ass. Why? Because Mr. Frond is a hack.

Frond calls Tina to her office and telling her about an ongoing situation that could put a dent onto Open House Day and that is there’s an ongoing trend that is going on regarding almost every student in Wagstaff partaking in the thing when noticing that they seem distracted, test scores being down to the shitter, art supplies missing, and have the popular kids hanging with the regulars like it’s social anarchy at its finest. Wanting Tina to do her job to alert him if there’s anything that is going on. So technically, he wants Tina to be a snitch to end the trend, so that we want Open House Day to be as perfect as he wants, in which Tina ends up agreeing to the offer because she’s a hall monitor and that’s pretty much her job. Another reason because Frond is a hack.

Tina goes on surveillance watch for Frond to see if there’s any suspicion on school grounds regarding the students. Which leads to the Belcher residence with Gene and Louise playing hooky and acting sus, having Tina think that something is up between them, but then forgets and just let it slide as we head over to the next day being the same thing in watching over everything, but no luck...until lunchtime whereas she was preparing to eat her lunch, she spotted Chloe Barbash talking to Hogarth Haber, the brother of Henry Haber, who isn’t in the episode in serving in the background aisle...along with Susmita, Jessica, Kaylee, Abbi, Jodi, Arnold, Peter, Wayne, and Harley. Where is the justice? Tina ends up following them outside the cafeteria and leads to the stairway to the boiler room. And once she enters there, she notices a group of students gathered together and notices a show going on. That show being the students watching someone’s hands dressing in clothes and dance around with a red dress and that hand...

Reveals to be Gene, who is showcasing his hand in a dress while pleasing the crowd. And also noticing Louise getting her payment once Gene is done and putting in oodles of candy and money from a hat into her bag as Rudy, and later, Courtney takes the stage. I mean...pretty sure this isn’t a surprise with Louise being the one who runs this shit. She probably saw the finger prancing trend and uses that as a way to make a profit out of it by turning it into a show and have every student skip the cafeteria and head over to the boiling room to watch the thing in action. Of course, Tina wants to snitch everyone out to Frond about all of this because she has a duty to follow, but knowing that face she’s making, it looks like may be entering what could be a Sophie’s Choice situation for her. But for now, let’s get to each performers’ hands, or rather, their finger-sonas. Starting off with Gene.

So we have Gene’s finger-sona that was shown when Tina found out about the whole finger prancing dog and pony show with his hand dressed up in a sparkly red dress and man, Gene is really pulling off the whole performance thing, especially when putting his hand in action to the crowd. I mean, it is the stage. Gene is pretty much born for it, whether being with music or dressing his hand up while old-timey horn innuendo music plays in the background. But still, Gene looks like he was enjoying the time of his life...despite that Louise is profiting off from the ongoing finger prancing trend. Pretty sure everyone on the show made it easy because they have four fingers. While in the real world, uh...don’t know if that’s going to be possible if you don’t want to showcase an accidental flipping the bird.

Then to Rudy and his finger-sona with his hand dressed up in a simple t-shirt and blue jeans with red wristbands like its the 1990s haven’t left the planet while driving through the Bronx. Much like with Gene, and later Courtney, born to perform. So that’s something. Though one thing to think about when it comes to Rudy. We have the hall monitors out and about. You have Tina serving as a hall monitor and she’s under Frond’s orders to possibly cut the show short, but now deal with a tight situation to choose...yeah, Rudy, you’re a hall monitor, right? How are you not doing your job? I mean, I guess I wanna say he was doing his job, despite being a low rank, which is a minnow, pretty much Wagstaff’s way of saying “rookie” and Louise has to be the one who convinces him to ditch his duties and perform. Guess that’s one way of how Rudy ended up in this trend of a mess.

Then we get to Courtney and it’s double trouble by doing two hands, her right arm being a guy and her left being a girl in skates. Can’t tell if she’s still into the skating lifestyle after that little mess that happened back in Season 9 that almost tore Gene and Alex’s friendship apart? Not wanting to be under her dad’s influence and wants to do it her way. So double trouble for Courtney with her hands taking the stage with a guy and his ex-wife, looking at the names, feels like a jab at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. They were a thing for six years before calling it quits. And may probably adding fuel to the whole “Courtney living the divorce lifestyle” headcanon. Guess that explains why Doug, rather, Ass Hat Joe is the only parent in the Wheeler family present and not Mrs. Wheeler. Yeah, that’s pretty much depressing if you think about it. Mentioned that in my Courtney discussion piece regarding the whole thing with the divorce and Doug taking 100% custody of Courtney.

Once that is done, Louise and Gene tell Tina that everyone in school is doing the whole finger prancing fad and they seem to be enjoying it, even though it can be somewhat distracting and hard to not get caught if either one of the students doesn’t want to be branded as the most hated person in the campus, just for ending the fad. Especially with Open House right around the corner. You have Gene with his fingers covered in mustard as clothes and tater tots as shoes, only to get caught by Ms. LaBonz. You have Courtney using her math book as a cover to not get caught when she performs hers. And not just Gene and Courtney, pretty much everyone performed the thing from top to bottom of the school. From the stairway to the bathroom, it’s pandemonium for finger prancing to have a complete takeover. It’s to the point to why Frond wants to ban the trend and wanting Tina to break the mold and end it completely. Thus, putting Tina is a very hard place to pick when it comes to what to do with the current situation...

When we head over to the next scene with her trying to create her own finger-sona via musical number with her current dilemma in hand, no pun intended, in what to do and what to do. A real Sophie’s Choice. On one hand, after encountering the trend and planning on trying out herself, it looks like she wants to partake in and want to partake in the fun and all...well despite that Louise is using the trend as her way of making profit, but want to be a part of the fad. But on the other hand, she wants to inform Frond of what’s going on over at the boiler room and just wants to do her duty as hall monitor in time for Open House to be perfect. But it would result in her becoming the most hated girl in all of Wagstaff. All because she would end up tell Frond to shut things down, following his orders but would also have her social status go down the motherfucking drain.

Kinda like with what happened in “The Hormone-iums” when Tina got the main lead after one of the members of the group fell ill with mono and was about to have the time of her life, but having her face on the posters with people thinking that she had contracted mono ending up having everyone avoiding her like the plague and destroyed her social life, as well being uninvited to Jocelyn’s party. That and maybe a hint or two with “Midday Run” with Tina, being the hall monitor, had to lie to Frond about losing Zeke under her custody and had to find him her way and she did, but Rudy did catch her red-handed and ending up getting into trouble.

Other than that, Tina is dealing with a Sophie’s Choice situation in either doing her job or keeping her social status with both Gene and Louise catching Tina red-handed in her trying out the finger prancing fad in one scene. Only for the next for them to think that something is up and thinks that Tina is obviously Frond’s puppet in hopes for the fad to end. It’s like with one scene, you have Gene and Louise talking to themselves when spotting Tina partaking in the finger prancing thing, “Whoa T, look at you. You’re doing the finger prancing trend.” And then comes the next after dinner with Gene and Louise now acting suspicious about what Tina is doing and think to themselves, “Okay, Tina is acting sus. I don’t know if she’s the right fit to partake in all of this. All I know is that she could be Frond’s lapdog and could snitch on us right away.”

Gene and Louise think that Tina is suspicious over her possibly colluding with Frond in wanting to shut the whole finger prancing business down. But it looks like Frond also thinks that Tina is suspicious in the opposite corner with him thinking that she hiding something. Mostly over the whole finger prancing underground show with her social status on the line like she’s seeing ghosts. Like the lies are eating her up as a whole. Like she wants to tell and keep her job, but at the same time, she doesn’t want anyone to hate her and wants to have some fun of her own with the whole finger prancing. Again, it feels like the lies have started to eating up her entire subconscious like it’s a ticking time bomb ready to explode.

And of course, here we are. Tina performing her finger prancing performance for the first time, while in her hall monitor uniform, and begins introducing her finger-sona to the audience with a blue dress and sash around her. Named Holly Monitors and the rest become history. The audience enjoys Tina’s performance. And it looks like Tina is pretty much having the time of her life as she performs and showing scene after scene with her performing with her hands and also doing her usual hall monitor duties like she forgot the whole keeping the lying thing to herself. I mean, that would be something to let the stress die down a bit and just focus on something else. But here we are, with Tina having the time of her freaking fracking life. And then, of course, we get another bite of the fanservice appetizer of the episode...

Baby Gene and baby Louise prancing as Bob, Linda, and Tina watch the whole damn thing as present-day Tina prances her heart out with her hands and experiencing the art of the finger drip. Learning that experience that was kept in the box for eons and now, here we are. Putting that to the test and my god, the crowd loves it. Sure, it’s mostly because they enjoyed both her and the others when performing their finger prancing shows, but with Tina, it feels like she was having the time of her life and nothing can ruin that...

Until we switched over to Frond’s office with Mr. Frond saying that enough is enough over Tina keeping the whole underground finger prancing issue hidden from him with Tina trying to make the situation even worse by trying to extend the investigation to a week, despite that Open House is in a few days. Frond, the hack that he is, decided to say enough is enough and want Tina to hand over her vest, pretty much giving her the pink slip because she didn’t tell anything about what’s going on. And this is where Tina decided to throw in a Hail Mary to save her job...that would result in a decision that she will soon regret, think we all know where this is going. And that’s where we head back to the boiler room and...

Typical Millie as always with her obsession with Louise with her dressing her hand up to be like Louise, pretty much cringing her to the max. Yeah, remember back in Season 8 when the writers decided to humanize Millie and think that Louise should test the waters in befriending Millie? Those were crazy times that was. Anyway, just as Millie was finished doing her performance, here comes Frond to shut everything down, and of course, Tina was the one who told him everything about the underground finger prancing show, shutting everything down, and of course, the trend is now banned thanks to Tina telling Frond about the whole thing. All because the lies were eating her up time after time and she couldn’t hold it like you’re holding down your bladder during a long car ride. Putting it out there, Tina is not made for lying. She’s pretty much a ticking time bomb whenever she kept a secret from anyone. Well...it exploded alright. Exploded enough for making you the most hated person in all of Wagstaff and also your siblings giving you the cold shoulder.  Did I mention that Frond is a fucking hack? Of course, he is!

Though I gotta give some brownie points to Millie for somewhat flipping Frond off. So...the Louise obsession is there, obviously. To the point where I could see either a visit to a therapist or a mental ward in her future. But I’ll this one slide with her pretty flipping Frond off and thinks that it’s a finger. So...I’ll give her that. Telling that hack to fuck off. But other than that, finger prancing is now banned and now the whole school hates Tina for being a snitch, including Louise and Gene giving their older sister the cold shoulder. Heading to the next day as Open House is now drawing close with everyone ignoring her. Not giving her a single look. Louise and Gene ignoring her like the damn plague. Even when he’s with Gene in the bathroom for his bath time while holding a plate of chicken nuggets, okay...don’t know why that has to be incorporated into it, but it is Gene. So, might as well go along with it. Tina is not happy with the outcome after informing Frond about the underground finger prancing show to the point where she lies awake and finger prancing by herself, thinking that she has to do something to restore everyone’s trust after what happened.

That’s where we end up back to the beginning of the episode with everyone in attendance over at the auditorium for Open House Day and ready to make things go in Frond’s favor with the superintendent present...somewhere. With Tina doing the work on the computer for the presentation, but rather than showing the presentation that Frond made for the entire town, Tina decided to get back at her boss in order to save her social status by showcasing her video...her video...of the art...

Of the finger drip! This took me a while to edit! So at least appreciate the drip, aight! So Tina brings back the finger prancing in a way to tell Frond to shove it and has some people, mostly Courtney, Rudy, Millie, and some randos performing along with Tina as the audience watches what is happening. Of course, you have Bob and Linda pulling a burger out of their clothes to watch this dog and pony show. And of course, Frond, being the hack that he is, trying to tell Tina to stop what she’s doing but ignores his call and continues on. Winning back the people’s trust and the superintendent seems to be okay with this once Tina was called into the office with Bob and Linda in attendance. Nothing wrong with kids expressing themselves and this coming from the same guy who once confiscated three of the Belcher kids’ stories over being “too creative”. And he even takes the credit. He even fucking takes the credit. What a fucking hack. Tina got a firm warning and Frond noticed a French fry being pulled out from Linda’s pits to close out the day.

Once we head on over to Tina’s room with her writing on her journal on a dark and rainy night, she gets interrupted by a knock by the door, revealing to be Gene with his finger-sona and decided to have a private brother/sister talk. Thought that we’re going to end the episode with a private finger prancing session, but nope. So Gene reveals to Tina that he was the one who snitched to Frond about the whole finger prancing issue. His reason is that...well, at first, he loves the attention. It’s him performing like he was born for it. Everyone loved it despite missing being in the cafeteria and eating the lunch food being served. He was living the life. But of course, Louise sees that as an opportunity to enrich herself and wanting to tell her that he doesn’t want to perform for candy and money. So what Gene is saying is that he was going the finger prancing performance for fun, but Louise sees that for profit. To the point where he was the one who told Frond everything, after being caught with his hand still dressed up, and of course, the show being shut down...

Even though everyone blames Tina for the whole mess, thus, you have everyone in the school hating on her, or used to hate her, including you and Louise in giving your older sister the cold shoulder, just for being Frond’s lapdog. I mean, I get that Gene doesn’t want to be the one responsible for banning the trend and have the whole school hate him and want to continue to perform the finger prancing scene without making a profit for himself or for someone else, like with Louise, but to the point where Tina had to be the one who had to carry that burden and have the whole school, including you and Louise, shunning her...I don’t know why you didn’t tell her right away...like, after the whole bombshell to Frond? During Gene’s bath while serving him nuggets? You’d probably feel at least guilty over it, but nope. Keep that a secret and let Tina take all the blame. But okay...fine. Whatever. At least we got some private brother/sister finger prancing time to close out the episode. So there’s that with the main plot of the episode. Let’s get down to the subplot because...of course, it’s short.

8 minutes. It took 8 minutes into the episode to kick off the subplot, 10 if you include ad time. I get that this is pretty much The Tina Show and all, but still...10 minutes? Anyway, Teddy storms into the restaurant and asking Bob and Linda for some help with something he needs. That need being that he has a date coming up with Kathleen, I guess that’s another breadcrumb being dropped to the fans to chew up, over at the movie theaters, but tried to sneak in some food of his own, mostly a burger, but got stopped by one of the workers from going through like you’re going to the airport and heading off to a trip, but ended up being stopped by the TSA and possibly take a while to bypass through over stuff that isn’t illegal and deadly. I mean, I get. Everyone wants to enjoy a night out watching a movie in theaters, those were the days before the pandemic fucked up our daily lives. Did you know that the weekend this episode premiered was supposed to be when the movie comes out after being pushed from its July 17 date last year? I see what did you did there, show. I see what you did there. Though yeah, I don’t blame anyone who wants to watch a movie in theaters, paying for a ticket, and want to buy some drinks and snacks to consume during the film, knowing the high price after paying a $20 movie ticket per person. Burning your damn wallet, will ya? Bob and Linda agree to Teddy’s plea and prepare something to help him out for his upcoming date with Kathleen...who is the person who will not be seen in this episode.

Transition over to the dinner table during the whole main plot in between Louise and Gene spotting Tina doing finger prancing and thinking that their sister is sus, here we have the fanwank via callback with the pits that Linda found over her arms. Being the same pit patch that she wore back in “Itty Bitty Ditty Committee” when Linda had that nasty rash that resulted in her growing armpit hair and trying to hide it from the masses. So Linda wants to use the pit patch for Teddy to use for his upcoming date with Kathleen, don’t know how armpit technology would help out heating a burger up unless...

You have those thermal bags you see in stores in the grocery aisle while over at the frozen food section to keep the food warm in a span of three hours. Enough to hold through an entire length to a movie. That and foil...it’s usually foil. So Linda decided to give the pit patch away to Teddy to help him carry the food without getting caught for sneaking food in. So talk about a callback with the pit patch that Linda found for Teddy to use for his date with Kathleen...only for more fanwank to step into the picture with the fanservice button being abused in this week’s episode with the nostalgia.

Cutting over to the next day with Linda ready to give away her pit patch to Teddy, until Bob decided to one-up her to sneak some food into the theaters without one of the workers showing signs of suspicion with Teddy for this upcoming date with Kathleen. And that is, of course, Bob pulling out a vest and putting in various amounts of condiments into each pocket for Teddy to wear for his date. Oh jeez, you have Bob and Linda coming up with various ideas to come up with stuff to present that make things easier for the common man or woman or whatever to get around. Where do I see that before?

Oh right, Season 3 with the spice-cepts and spice racks with the science fair over at the school coming up. Because you have Bob and Linda arguing like children over whose invention is better to the public. I mean, in that episode, when telling the kids who like the invention more, you have Tina being the only person who have not yet made a decision, probably served as a swing vote, after Louise and Gene decided to give it a pass and wanting to partake in this little argument. To the point where it scares Tina. It’s now the same thing with Teddy over the vest and the patch to the point where he ended up running away in panic. Abruptly ending the subplot. Yeah, so...there’s the subplot. Another subplot where it’s Bob vs Linda over what kind of bullshit had to be pulled out from its hat and this one ended with no winner. Ends in a draw. Of course, you have them pulling each condiment from the pit patch and the vest pocket when enduring Tina doing some finger prancing. But other than that with the subplot...it was short. Make room for Tina and her plot.

Reaction/Thoughts:

So all and all, what do I think about this week’s episode of Bob’s Burgers? One, better than the last episode. Just putting it out there. But other than that, this was a good episode. I really enjoyed it. Tina’s little narration throughout the episode and treating it like it’s a noir did not downplay it. There were a few instances, but it didn’t ruin the episode. I’d say it was enjoyable, to say the least, though the subplot was rather short with the whole “Teddy wanting to sneak food into the theaters” thing that escalated to Bob and Linda acting like total children over who’s invention is better.

But man, this episode was pretty much fanservice to the max with the nostalgia through the callbacks in the subplot. That little scene where Tina finger prances the fuck out of her system and showing a glimpse of the past with her, Bob, and Linda watching a baby Louise and Gene prancing around. That was something. Hope the fuck we could get an episode on that. Of course, we have recurring characters, mostly with the Wagstaff kids, having little to no lines. So pretty much the episode’s way of serving breadcrumbs to the fans, much a grin to the last episode with the festival.

Though the episode can be somewhat predictable, but not really when it comes to Tina’s little dilemma when it comes to her finding out about the whole finger prancing show and wanting to tell Frond about it. You know, the lies eating her up and knowing that Tina is pretty much terrible at keeping secrets, no offense chica, but you kinda are. Even though it was later revealed that Gene was the one who told Frond everything that leads to the underground show being shut down, just because he doesn’t want to perform for Louise’s sake to making profit out of the trend. Even though he let Tina take all the blame, ended up becoming the most hated person in school, and have to fix the issue all by herself. Okay, a bit peeved off about that. But at least we got some bonding moments between Gene and Tina at the end with them hosting their own private finger prancing show, so that I’ll allow. At least we can agree on one thing...Mr. Frond is a hack.

The subplot was short with Teddy wanting Bob and Linda’s help to sneak some food into the theaters. Though again, nostalgia with the callbacks with the pit patches that Linda found back when she had a rash on her pits. And also the little competition with the vest and the patch regarding where to store food to get the movie theaters, yeah... a lot of callbacks from past seasons but the subplot was ended in short fashion after scaring Teddy out of the restaurant with this little argument going out of control.

So final thoughts, I enjoyed the episode. Better than the last episode. Tina’s narration didn’t downplay the episode as a whole. Though the episode was heavy with the fanservice to the point where the writers decided to consume member berries while working on the story. The subplot was short. Hoping for each of the recurring characters to have a line for once. So I’ll give “Fingers-loose”...

An 8.5 out of 10. I think that seems about right with the scoring. But that’s my opinion, and now I wanna hear yours. What do you think about this week’s episode of Bob’s Burgers? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Would you ever try out finger prancing? Are you Team Pit Patch or Team Vest? And do you think that Frond is a hack? All that and your mini-reviews in the comments down below. And of course, we have a new episode on Sunday with a mystery regarding a car crash in front of the restaurant...okay, now I feel like this episode is totally sus for sure with the events knowing the press release and promo pics in the eighteenth episode of Season 11, “Some Kind of Fender Benderful”.
