Coming from MomoCon in Atlanta last, last Weekend, Toonami has announced that both Akame Ga Kill and Michiko & Hatchin are coming this Summer.

First off, let's talk about the main event for Anime fans, "Akame Ga Kill". The most controversial Anime of last year, in the Summer season, whether you liked it or disliked it, based on your opinion, is coming on August 8th. Means that "Akame Ga Kill" will replace "Kill La Kill" once it's run ends. I haven't seen the show, but that's something that I should check out before it airs in August.

The big question on everyone's mind right now is which company is gonna dub the anime now that Toonami got the rights? Correct me if I'm wrong on this, but I believe that this could be the first Sentai anime that they'll show. Sentai, as in Sentai Filmworks. Most other anime for example includes the other popular 2014 anime, "Parasyte: The Maxim" and most people's favorite, "Highschool of the Dead". Akame Ga Kill premieres August 8th on Toonami on Adult Swim.

But Akame Ga Kill isn't the only anime that is coming to Adult Swim this Summer...

...the anime that...I have never even heard of is coming to Toonami on June 20th, replacing "Inuyasha: The Final Act" because...the Final Act has reached the Final Act. The Final Episode of "Inuyasha: The Final Act" premieres on Toonami on June 13th (this Saturday) at 1:30am Eastern/12:30am Central.

Judging on the teaser they showed in MomoCon, this anime is like the equivalent of Cowboy Bebop, except it's not based in Space and the main lead is female. However, fun fact, the title translate from the language of Portuguese, yes, Portuguese. And the setting is in Brazil. Brazil's main language is Portuguese because the country is used to be a Colony for Portugal until its Independence in late 1820s. That's your history lesson of the day, ladies and gentlemen. Anyway, Michiko & Hatchin is coming to Toonami on June 20th, replacing Inuyasha: The Final Act once its run ends this Saturday night.
